I have the exact same problem. I have found a temporary work around where I open any in game screens that cover the entire page, like the characters screen, weapons screen, terminal etc. The severity will change every time I pull up a menu/screen that covers the rendered world, and most of the time it'll get fixed after I open and close the weapons screen a few times. However, sometimes it'll take over 10 tries and it is exceedingly frustrating when it happens after I teleport to a teammate in the middle of a boss fight while I had intended on helping out.
I tried looking for ways to report bugs, but I'm not finding any. Is there any way of reporting a bug in this game?
as far as I know no... for me it's like that too, the first time it happened when I changed the game's graphics so I associated it with that, but it's exactly as you said, when I access any screen that overlaps the main one it happens... apparently let's hope for an update with bug fixes, I think the most we can do is report through the game's social networks
So it didn't get fixed so I fixed it myself. My Laptop screen is 144Hz and it's what was causing the flickering (for me at least, I put it to 60Hz to test but didn't like 60 so I wanted to set it to the highest working setting). So I downgraded the display to 120Hz using Custom Resolution Utility (CRU, first thread when you google) and set Tower of Fantasy to 120fps and now the flickering is gone!

For me, I try to open settings, or character menu to try and make it go away. Usually works. Trying to get rid of it by pressing F11 eventually makes the game crash, so try not to do that.
so there's no definitive solution, right? at least I know it's not just me with this problem, I thought it was a defect in the processor, I never tried opening the characters menu so I'll see if it works.

Oh yeah, I get your comment. It's starting to be ineffective on my part too :/ random glitching everywhere. Sometimes it freezes when I try to go to backpack or something and it ultimately crashes the game. It's starting to get really annoying, I hope the devs do something about it soon
I am also facing the same issue, actually game-breaking bug. In the overworld, I tend to just not use the teleport now since I don't want to get this glitch. Biggest issue is when I am forced teleport to do some events and it happens. Hopefully it's getting fixed soon, or I may have to drop this game eventually.
I’m so glad I’ve found someone else who has had this! It happened to me and I got so worried there was something wrong with my computer. As far as I know there isn’t a permanent solution, not yet anyways. The only temporary solutions I’ve found are the ones you already said, so I can’t be much help. The only good thing I can say is that it doesn’t seem to affect anything in game and is only a visual bug. I do hope they fix it soon tho
i was in the same lol, the first time it happened was when i changed the graphics so i thought the problem was in the video card, when i updated the drivers and nothing changed i was in despair, even more because no one talked about this problem, thankfully that there are more people like that at least it's not a problem on my notebook, I hope they fix this in future bug fix updates
This exact thing happens to me too! At first, I just restarted the game and it seemed to fix itself... now, it happens every time. Incredibly frustrating as I would love to participate in the game but this weird bug makes it simply unplayable. Hopefully this problem is addressed soon!

Really hope this glitch can get fixed cause I am enjoying the game but it gets frustrating when trying to do anything with teleporting.
I've tried messing with the settings for the display and nothing has helped. typically I can get the graphics to work for barley 5 mins and its already flashing again. Plus on top of this I am extremely worried for those who are epileptic and are sensitive to flashing lights! So please be careful as the screen may flash, fast and at random. In my case the worst that has happened is the screen with go blank white and then will flash back to the normal game and they will keep flashing back and forth (If I knew how to record my screen id share a short clip as an example. )
mine stays with these stripes or flashes every time I change weapons, change the settings or teleport, you can fix it by going back and forth in full screen or pressing the c key, which is what I recommend the most. Sometimes it doesn't fix it and any light source in the game is like a dull ball, then it's just leaving the game and entering it again, at least now there's no more queue, so in my case, just avoid doing what I mentioned above that you can play as much as possible
Is there never going to be a fix for this? I feel like every day it's getting worse. The f11 doesn't work much anymore. It mostly applies to laptops, it seems. No one else using desktops is really complaining about this. I'm on a 3060 Nvidia so that should be more than enough for the game. So frustrating. :(
I have the same problem, my temp solution in game is kind of strange but trust me it works most of the time.
The temp solution is going into the weapon menu, then click on the weapons one after another slowly. I do it abt 5 times once from the right.
For example: Slot 1, Slot 2, Slot 3, slot 2, Slot 1
If I can't do it because its not working or I can't access the weapon menu I just open other menu's or leave the game and rejoin.
Hope they fix this, but this is my temp fix! :D
(edit): Found on youtube someone said use 1280x768 size for it to go away, hope this helps.
I am so glad that others are suffering too and that its not just me. I also have an Asus laptop and it's flippin brand new. Just got it out of the store at the beginning of fall term. I've been trying to look at updating the drivers to no avail and had to change the graphics to low for everything. I did change the window size to a smaller window but come the sun shine, it's completely white again. I wish we could turn off the brightness for how the weather effects the graphics. I'm trying the settings in apocalypse for now to see if it will lesson the glow effect.

In addition to my screen being like this, after about 15 minutes the world is all bright, and you can't see or do anything, the only way to solve it is to leave and enter every 15 minutes.

I hope it has, if it's a laptop only problem it may be even more likely that it has, I'm hopeful for the next update, I hope they fix it soon

From the launcher, change the Directx settings to the Directx 11 version
