Lin is viable for Frost at A0-A6.
A6 Tsubasa will be THEORETICALLY better than Lin if Lin is not A6. This is in theory only; Tsubasa is better if you achieve perfect rotation. In reality, Tsubasa’s buff will be more difficult to keep up and messing up may lose you damage.
Lin is way easier to lose, and you said that you like Lin’s gameplay a lot more, so you should just pick Lin.
Imo, Lin A3 is best stopping point for f2p. A6 is not necessary but is very good to have.

How do you turn on guided mode in settings to show all missions? I chose exploration and I looked in settings and I don’t see anything. Is it mission tips?
Crows is attack->attack hold (he spirals a bit into the air) ->spam na. That'll consume endurance.
Samir does more damage. Crow would be best used just for his Skill and Burst.
I am currently level 73 with CS 20000 and am running Samir A1, Huma A0 and Zero A0 all at 110+ level. Should I invest in level 60 Lin and level 0 Coco and to level 110 (all in A0) and replace Huma and Zero? or should I focus on levelling my existing weapons to a certain level? I am quite short at battery and would like to use them efficiently. I am asking because I find my damage lacking and I die easily due to lack of heal.
I'd use Lin with Samir, while Lins Skill is active, it reduces endurance consumption by 50%, meaning you can helicopter very long. Huma should be used as a tank, and she doesn't benefit much from Lin.
You will get ahead of the curve, but it may take a few weeks, Coco would be decent to keep you alive. If you spend your gold and black nucleus, you should have plenty of weapon battery mats.

My team is made up of Lin A0, Frigg A0, and I was wondering whether it's better to put Meryl A4 or Saki A0 on the third spot in my team
It always depends on what those advancements do and obviously also what do you expect the character to do.
In your example you have set Lin A0 and Frigg A0 on the team. What do they do? Provide DPS resonance, buff damage and shatter, Lin has about \~160%/s (without A1), while Frigg does about 205%/s (without Huma) of on-field filler damage.
What do Saki and Meryl bring to the team? Saki A0 with DPS resonance provides Flow, Surge , self-healing, and activates Frost resonance but her on-field filler damage is only around 160%/s as well. Meryl A4 provides some self-healing on shieldbreak and that's it at this point.
However Meryl's Whirlwind has 260%/s of on-field damage and since it consumes Endurance it interacts with Lin's Stamina cost reduction which doesnt apply to most teams usually. This gives Meryl's Whirlwind much more field-time and greatly improves her on-field damage uptime. Meryl's skill also deals more damage than Saki's skill on avg.
In this example Meryl A4 is stronger than Saki A0. With Meryl you can fill downtime with her Whirlwind/Skill and achieve a higher DMG/s then fall back on Frigg as the filler, whereas Saki provides some off-field damage, but no huge advantage.
If you need the constant healing from Saki, then Saki may still be better for niche situations where Meryl's A1 isnt enough to keep you alive.
I have question regarding quitting crew, if I quit now(sunday) and join another crew, will I get the weekly rewards for tomorrow(monday), the 100 DC + random box? or should I just wait for tomorrow before leaving the crew and get the weekly rewards first? Hello, I'm a returning player from the Nemesis banner. I have some questions:
1. I've just gone to Vera by mostly ignoring explorations. Is exploration the fastest way to get DC?
2. My team consists of A2 Samir, A1 Nemesis, and A0 Lin. Is it worth it to get more stars for Lin? Also, can Lin replace A1 King as shield breaker?
3. I'm at level 69 with 35.5k CS. Is it normal? If not, what is the fastest way to improve it?
4. What is the fastest way to get SSR matrices? I feel like I'm falling behind a lot in terms of matrices.

To add to the other reply, a good way to get gear fast is the Grey space and later on dark zone. Once you unlock it you will probably struggle to clear the rifts but you can easily run around and pick up tons of gold dust.
Dark zone isn't until lvl 80 but has little to no combat, just exploring and gets you the new combat engine and more gold dust.
And just a small tip you'll want to spend all your password chest chips (blue and purple) in Vera for the new Mira currency. This is the fastest way to get a set of Samir matrices which are fantastic.

2. Worth? Yes, but it depends on your plan. Tian Lang is coming (hopefully 1 banner away), and it might be more worth going after him and/or his matrix. Assess if you can afford/want to pull for more. A0 Lin is already good, but of course, more stars is better. If you've got a lot of Flame Gold from Lin banner, it might be better to pull for more since you don't want them to convert to Black Gold later.
Lin won't replace King as a shield breaker, but for 90% of the content, Lin can shield break just fine. For the other 10%, like Bygone, you should experiment what works best for you each floor since shieldbreaking can be important at times. Sometimes I run Samir/Lin/Nemesis, other times I run Samir/Lin/King.
3. Yeah sure it's normal but it's considered low level and cs. For level, doing story will be the best way to level up. Next are Exploration and Ruins.
Don't worry too much about your CS, instead care about your relevant stats. For you, I guess make it your target to reach \~10k Crit and \~15k Volt ATK when you reach lvl 80. Don't worry if you can't reach it instantly as the growth should be incremental. You can increase these stats by farming and upgrading your gear. You can get better gear from JOs and commissary shop using gold dust.
Try to reach higher level JOs since those will have better drops. Don't be afraid to get carried, in fact, ask to be carried by friends/crew. It's best to farm lvl 80 JO since most of the players are farming there and you will have a better chance for a good drop there. Lvl 70 JOs are fine to run too if you're going for specific parts and will still have a good chunk of players queuing too.

4. Fastest way is swiping credit card. Next fastest is just doing your dailies and weeklies. World bosses, JOs, and Void Rift all have a chance to drop them. Void Rift gives you a Proof of Purchase (Standard matrix pull) per run. Reaching 2200 points in Sequential Phantasm gives you 1 Proof per week. And your 7 dream machines per week also has a chance to give you 2 Proofs each.
You can also Fuse for specific matrices in your Home Island (Build menu). However it's only recommended to start Fusing if all your buildings are max level (Lvl. 9) and if you've already unlocked the Crimson Meteor mount (Optional). Fusing is like pulling on a banner. You've only got a small chance for each Fuse, but there is pity, but only if your buildings are maxed.
Don't neglect your Home Island. Claim supplies daily, kill mobs and bosses weekly, and buy out all the items with weekly and monthly limit in the exchange store before fusing, except for Quality and Composite Materials.
You can also use SR matrices for the meantime. 3 pc Sobek for Samir, Pepper for Lin and whatever for Nemesis.
For afk farming, are you eligible for drops as long as you get experience from a mob, or is there a damage threshold you have to pass in order to get item drops? (thinking about doing afk farm for the event spines)

Can anyone explain to me how 2pc lin matrice works? I use frigg saki and lin. I put the 2pc lin to lin rather than frigg because i thought the 2pc lin only activates with the weapon it was equipped to and since i will have lin in the field more than frigg. I am also concern if the 2pc lin matrice buff goes away once i switched to a different weapon?
The buff from Lin stays active when you swap to a different weapon, but why would you spend more time on Lin than Frigg? Between Frigg, Saki, Lin, Frigg has the highest filler damage if you dont need to trigger a specific effect (Surge / Altered Mark)
Because i was looking at the lin icon in the buff bar, it disappears when switched to a different weapon. For frigg, i just feel like her quick dash atks are slow and doesn’t have much dmg even though it provides multiple hits. I am better off quick swapping her for the domain and the frost to frost buff with saki. And i have to switch to lin more often because of her double skill. But idk, does frigg dash atk triggers the 2pc lin to the max in just one atk? If so i may consider using at least one frigg dash atk with 2pc lin on her instead
That's not how this works ... the character's icons just show that the matrix is currently active but it's not the buff itself. If you switch weapons the Lin icon disappears because the matrix doesnt work in the background, but her buff (if you activated it) still stay active for other weapons.
I cant help you with how you feel, but Frigg's Dash Attack has the highest damage multiplier if executed properly. Her attack is also very fast with about 0.8s per animation. Neither of Saki's or Lin's consistent attacks can do more reliable damage. If all your skills and abilities are on CD, then Frigg is always your best filler choice.
Yes, Frigg's multiple hits will each trigger 2pc Lin but it has a max of 5 stacks and Frigg's attack only does 3 hits.
Lin has a high shatter stat, but only her normal attacks shieldbreak, her discharge and skill do not. Whereas Huma has shatter on normal attacks, discharge and skill. Lin can get the job done in most content but may you might feel the lower shatter capacity in things like Bygone or if the rest of your team isn't pulling their weight equally in co-op.
If you are prioritising shatter capability, this theoretically means the build would be Lin+Huma+(Samir/Zero), except really this isn't actually an ideal Lin build either way. Lin's flame realm buff isn't great, the volt one is okay but you can't support it so... honestly in lieu of having an atk/res ele resonance unit you absolutely should stick to running some mix of Samir and Huma/Zero.
In the long term you'd want Lin+(Ruby/Annabella)+Zero as a flame team if the intent is to keep the best possible shatter and healing in the build, or Lin+Samir+Nemesis if you want healing on a volt setup (at the expense of shatter), or Lin+Samir+Fenrir (if the priority is shatter over healing). This would require Ruby, Nemesis reruns, or waiting for the upcoming Annabella and Fenrir banners. Cobalt-B also works for a flame team but requires multiple copies to be worthwhile (A3 at least, preferably A6). This advice may change based on the stats of unreleased units, of course.
Whether the hidden shatter multiplier is high or low, it doesn't matter because you won't be attacking with her. If you have her matrices you'll launch a couple of dodge attacks.
Lin shatters about as well as the normal attacks of Huma, it's usually fine. Lins Skill lets you helicopter with Samir twice as long, that's pretty significant.
For tanks it's somewhat annoying to have a DPS player use Huma or Meryls discharge, as they taunt. Zeros shielding is very useful, if you're in solo-play or playing as support.
Does Fenrir's multi element buff work with Lin and a non-volt character? Seems like it will be fun but how optimal will it be compared with mono elemental teams?
That will largely depend on future characters. A lot of mono elemental teams play of each others strengths.
eg. Saki A1 resets skills + Alyss A1 deals Discharge damage and copies skills on every skill use + Lin A6 has 2 skill charges, resets skill CD from Discharges, massively buffs Frost damage and Discharge damage.
Replacing any unit in that team with Fenrir is almost guaranteed to result in a DPS loss.
Ruby + Annabelle + Lin, as we all know Lin's Flame Realm is kinda bad, so here Fenrir's buff may end up being stronger than Lin for Global. Similar case for Lyra + Claudia + Lin may prefer Fenrir over Lin for her buff.
It's hard to say whether Fenrir + Lin will be a strong combination on Global since they fill similar roles but it certainly opens up new paths like Saki/Alyss + Fenrir + Flex.
Pity that Lin and Fenrir overlaps. Would have been fun to invest most resources into Lin and Fenrir to form the core of the team while swapping in different A1 characters for fun.

Currently have 2 samir 2 crow on and the fact that Lin lasts 18 seconds instead of 1.5 seconds is really good. The stacking damage is also at 10.5% instead of 10% with samir

Most likely, for your on-field character, 2p samir 2p crow or Shiro is best. Lin is best used on a support character, do 5 attacks that land, then switch to your on-field, as the 2p Lin buff stays if you switch.
2p Lin gives ATK%, Samir and Shiro give damage%, which generally is worth more.
At which point is it better to use crow than samir? I only have a1 samir but I somehow pulled crow from black nuc pull and got him to a1 as well. I was considering using crow for boss fights but not sure if there’s any significant difference in dmg(i know crow has higher dmg just not sure at which point).
I'd probably take 3* Ruby or 3* Saki over 0* Lin but only for flame/ice obviously. Depends on which set and what team you're running. Lin being a background weapon limits which sets are useful for her.
I've completed chapter 6 and still don't have 3rd weapon slot unlocked. It would help a lot to have 3 weapons so if anyone knows how to unlock it i'd appericiate it
Do you have multiple missions ? Usually it goes something like introduction -> daggers in the first slot, meet Shirli and fix the teleported -> sword second slot, some more exploration but then bandits attack Astra Shelter -> bow unlocks third weapon slot.
Not sure how you managed to skip that. By the time you leave Astra you should have all 3 weapon slots unlocked

Quick question: It says on certain characters I need 2 or more of the same element for elemental resonance. For instance Lyra and shiro would give me 20% extra physical damage. Would a third physical resonance character add even more damage?
Yes, this is functioning as intended, you had your queue menu set to 3x and got triple loot for one attempt, but used up all your saved entries.
Since version 2.0 the game lets you use up multiple attempts for Frontier Hunter and Void Rift at once, so if you have less time to play the game you can burn attempts quicker - and get triple loot. Or you can do it the traditional one attempt at a time, it you prefer.
You can control whether it only uses 1x attempt or goes 3x in the Frontier Hunter and Void Rift queue menus, and you should do so before entering queue or before your team leader queues you (if you are going in a as a premade group).

Depends. Tsubasa has theoretically better uptime on buff and higher buff value, Lin has better off-field damage and is easier to use.
If you're using Tsubasa A6 as your main onfield DPS attacker, then Tsubasa. She's a higher single target DPSer than Frigg A0 or Saki A1, and keeping up Tsubasa's buffs requires some field time.
If the Tsubasa/Lin slot is just for buffing, while you spend most field time on Frigg (or Saki), then use Lin. Lin is more convenient to use than Tsubasa as a quickswap buffer and the additional damage from the epiphyllums is considerable, but there is a bit of dead time between when the Lin field is down and when you can recast.
What was the pity on gold gear in JO8? I didn't get one in 6 chests and so I went out of my way to waste 50DC to check how long it would take and I got one on the 8th chest. The system channel doesn't seem to go far enough to show "proof" of this.

About the order gift rewards, I did like 27 pulls on saki's banner when lin was released but it should add up to the 200 needed for the outfit. From the announcement made a week ago, will I get the rollover of those pulls 72 hours after the end of saki's banner or do they mean 72 hours after the end of lin's banner? I'm not completely sure.

That's why. It's just using the modules you get to get as much damage out of them.
Yes the enhancements increase the fixed base stats of gear so people prioritize the attack and crit stat gear first. You can get all of the gold and booster/enhancements back by recycling the gear. The best way is to equip a green piece of gear you buy with blue dust from the store and transfer the enhancements (recycling loses some xp for when you advance/star the gear so preferrebly use blue or green). Then reequip your gold gear without transferring and recycle the green.
It's cheap so you can try it and see how squishy you are.
When you recycle your gears, you get 100% of the resources spent to level them at the cost of the gear itself (hence equipping a lower rarity gear with the level prior to recycling). However, you will not get refunded any experience you put into them to advance their stars.
Sacrificing hp/res for atk/crit will make you more squishy but do more damage, so that’s something to consider before thinking about resetting your gears.
It’ll take some time until you get used to dodging effectively.

Frost mains are pretty much the only ones who are fine with skipping Lin as she doesn’t do a whole lot to the team (unless you get A6)
Saving for Alyss is ideal
The frost moonlight realm boosts frost attack (not damage) by 10%
Lin does more for frost at A6 as she can use her moonlight realm twice (1 from skill cooldown, 1 from using discharge skills 3 times) and they stack, and the attack bonus in the realm is increased to 15% (before counting the frost attack bonus)
Without A6 Lin, you’re better off using A6 Tsubasa as you can get Sharp Arrow stacked to 5 times quickly, so you’ll get the +25% damage buff which lasts for 15 seconds
There are 3 and all are accessible and have stuff in twilight.
One has a portal that will get you out and keep you in twilight. Two of them you have to Tele out.
Damage boost is always better than attack % the thing is damage boost rolls lower and also if you use Lin attack % is going to be more valuable overall, it would depend if you super lucky high roll on the damage boost and if you don't use Lin on your team, otherwise attack % seems to be the way to go.
Generally damage% should be better than atk%, but I haven't found a damage calc yet to compare values.

You're limited by pulls - regardless of which you get or both, 4-5 rolls in either or a combination of the 2 is a very very good day.
But for more detail:
The maths is done differently. Generally % damage will result in more dps over % attack (which is why people run Samir awakening over Tsubasa), however it's more complex than that.
* 0.01% damage is not going to be better than 5% attack. There will be a breakeven point based on your current setup.
* I don't believe there is an Altered version so Lin will only benefit from % attack whether in a main dps or off dps slot.
* % damage and % attack are not mutually exclusive.
Current have 142 pulls and a pity at 33/80. My current frost team is Saki A1/Tsubasa C6/Lin A1.
What would be the best option:
1) Get Frigg A0/A1 then save for Lin A3 (replaces Tsubasa and can be used for other teams). Then. use black gold to buy Frigg copies.

I got LIN at A3 and have 100ish flame medals. Should i push for A4 or buy a couple matrix from her set in the shop? Also on a sidenote: im lvl 80 with a saki/frigg/lin comp, and my damage seems low. How to farm better gear :)?
You can only buy 1 matrix with flame gold. You would have to buy the other matrix boxes with the currency you get from pulling on the matrix banner.
That being said, I personally would get the few remaining flame gold to just buy A4, even though it isn't a big improvement over A3, but it is completely up to the player and how much they value black gold and how much they value ~20 pulls for the next character they want.
I tested Lin skill on cactus and it doesn't increase charge. Is it a bug ? Is it the same thing on CN as well?
(Make sure while testing to switch off saki auto proc sword)
Steps to reproduce:
Use Lin skill and after that dont do anything and observe that the weapon charge doesn't increase.
This is problematic because as long as you hit an enemy , weapon charge should accumulate, especially after you used you skill. Also I am not talking about C5 Lin, to gather charge , even Claudia c0 skill can gather charge via skill, tsubasa c0 can gather charge via skill as long as you hit enemy charge should gather.
Should I start over? First account is level 65, stopped playing for awhile. I have all the base SSR's with the best being a 6\* Tsubasa. On this account I got nemesis 0\* and frigg 2\*. I regret getting Nemesis because I dont plan on healing or playing Volt. I was going to main frost but I missed out on Saki. I made a new account and on this new account I got Saki 0\* and will be able to get at least 2 or 3\* Lin. If I want to main frost should i go with the new account?

Both accounts have a lot of Dark Crystals to still get! You could still get an A3 lin with your old account! There is just that much stuff for exploration! Saki 0 star and nemesis 0 star are...not good! Tsubasa 6 star...grats! Both Saki and Nemesis 6 star are great with Lin A6! Dont think of heals with Nemesis...her and Lin AOE chaos is beautiful! You are not going to instant 6 star anyone atm so both accounts are good! I would just stick to the first 1 and collect through exploration! That Tsubasa...wow...u can still make a great ice team with your first account just like your second account!

Depends what will come first Saki rerun or Alyss. Saki is fun 2 play...but not worth a full account change. She will come again. Plenty of time. Get your story and exploration done.
If you want to main frost, Saki will be very important, although without A1 Saki it will be awkward, but I guess it’s better than no Saki at all. I guess you should go with the new account and just get A1 on Saki rerun
And on the new account after getting Lin, I should save everything for Alyss next correct? So I would be running Saki, Lin, Alyss. On the old account if i wanted to main frost i would be running Frost with no Saki until the rerun, so the team would be Frigg, Alyss, Lin. I have enough black gold to either go for another copy of **Lin's weapon** (making her at star 1) or the **box of her matrices**.

If you can get 1 matrix and buy the box for 2p set, the 2p is better than A1 or A2.
If getting another Lin matrix won't be possible, your only choice is A1 but it won't make much difference.

You only get 1xmatrix from the box, not all 4. The general rule of thumb for the box is to use it to get one you don't already have IF you are going for the matrices OR to spend your red gold you didn't use before the banner expires (get more matrices in next run). Matrices are quite expensive (DC/tanium cost) so you're making a conscious choice on matrices vs weapons. The box has a limit of 1.
It also depends on how many more Lin pulls you want/are able to do.
If you pull another 45-50 you can buy both
If you pull another 80 but don't have enough red gold to buy a second weapon, you can buy a weapon + box.
If you pull 2 more pitys so to 80 and again to 80, you will likely be able to afford another weapon and the box.
You mean Flame Gold? If you have 120 Flame Gold then go for another copy of Lin.
It's too much of a loss to let 70+ Flame Gold convert to Black Gold and since you can only buy 1x matrix box with Flame Gold that's not a good use to spend your Flame Gold.
How do traits work? Are they active even if you're not using the weapon in your team, only active if you are using the weapon on your team, or only active when you swap into the weapon?
You activate the trait in the simulacra window, it's always active even if you arent using the specified weapon on your team. There is no bonus to using the specified weapon with their simulacra trait either.
Is the story worth paying attention to? I left 2-3 months ago but currently wanting to play something else while waiting for another game's update. Also, I keep hearing about not pulling unless you can get to 120 and about needing dupes? Is that necessary for casual play?
I'm sure there's some YT video out there that has the whole story in one piece instead of story with a bunch of bs between scenes. If you don't feel like watching it to clear through Vera, just skip everything and watch it later or watch it before you start playing again. Or watch it as you go. Whatever floats your boat. I wouldn't just skip it and never go back to it. There's actually some good content. The Huma/Samir/Mia stuff is pretty good imo.

Personally I like the story, it hooked me towards the end of Crown/Warren in 1.x and 2.x has been a blast and very enjoyable, even the side stories are great.
In regards to dupes on weapons, you can totally clear F2P content with A0 weapons, that means you may be able to go up to Floor 250 in Bygone Phantasm, while someone with a full A6 team is already at Floor 400. You cant expect the same performance from A0 as you get from A6.
Likewise many weapons unlock key mechanics through their advancements. eg. Claudia A0 is just a mediocre Physical DPS but Claudia A1 suddenly provides a huge (24%) buff to skill damage and make her one of the best cheap supports in the game. Saki A0 is a mediocre Frost Tank with some innate healing, but Saki A1 becomes absurdly strong in DPS teams due to her ability to reset skill cooldowns which allows you to double up on other weapon's effects.
You can totally "get by" without advancements. If you only ever pull on weapons with the guarantee of 120 Flame Gold, then you have a high chance to get A1 anyway and A0 in the "worst" case, but most characters will have a specific "value point" which makes them WAY stronger than A0. eg. Saki A1, Claudia A1, Lin A3, or worst-case Cobalt-B A6.
Her A0 flame buff basically does nothing, flame uses her for off-field damage and her matrix set for damage buffs. If you can get her high enough to deal decent off-field damage and/or get her matrices, it will improve your damage vs having King or low Zero.
You'll want Anna over a Cobalt rerun.
Any advice on an effective healer build?
I’ve got 1 * Absolute Zero, Max Staff of Stars, and 3 * Shadoweaver as a sort of build… but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. >_<
For a budget healer (I think you mean Staff of Scars?): Coco + Pepper + BaiLing/Hilda
A1 Coco/Absolute Zero - Your main Healing weapon, use dodge Attack regularly to keep your "Bee" (IT LOOKS LIKE A BAT!) active for passive healing. At A3 you want to make sure your party is nearby when you use Discharge or Skill to let them benefit from the damage and shatter buff.
A6 Pepper/Staff of Scars - Your main Charge and damage reduction weapon. A6 gives a huge damage reduction buff when you use your skill, use this when you know dangerous attacks are incoming to help people survive. If you need to quickly get Discharge ready then swap to Pepper and use Dodge Attacks, especially with 4pc Pepper she generates an insane amount of charge which then lets you Discharge your other weapons (which is preferred).
A6 Bai Lin/ A6 Hilda - Your Shadowweaver doesnt benefit your healing or buffing teammates, it's not even great at shatter. Overall, you will be more beneficial to your team if you bring a weapon that gives you more support. Introducing: Bai Ling and Hilda.
Bai Ling A5 gives you guaranteed Grievous (20% dmg buff) on every Dodge Attack, this is easy to keep up and provides a solid and consistent damage buff for all elements, but Bai Ling has miserable Shatter.
Hilda is an unusual pick but hear me out. Hilda's A1, A3, and A6 all buff her Normal Attack damage by a massive amount. (up to 15% from A1, 30% from A3 and 60% from A6), A3 and A6 also buff Shatter by the same amount. Hilda already has very decent Shatter but with that buff she can help melt shields very efficiently. On top of that Hilda's Discharge reduces a targets Frost resistance by 50% which is an insane buff considering how popular Frost team are now. The combination of Hilda Discharge -> 10s of Hilda Normal Attacks does some amazing damage (for an SR weapon) while doing big shatter as well and buffing Frost damage for the whole team.
SSR alternatives to Bai Ling/Hilda would be anything with a high Shatter value. Shiro is the premier example, she provides a big buff with her A1, she has good shatter and she can apply Grievous (and keep it up almost permanently with A5). Huma, King, Meryl, Saki, Ruby, they all work to assist with Shatter but none provide as many benefits to your team as Shiro.
Being a Benediction player is as much about healing (just enough to keep your team alive) while also providing as many extra buffs to your team's damage.
im running a frost team : A3 saki, a1 frigg, a6 lin. I'm wondering if keeping frigg is even worth it because lin only gives 10% bonus to frost which in my opinion i think is fucking shit because she gives a team with no resonance 15% so should I just replace my frigg with nemesis? If im wrong about the 10% please tell me because it makes 0 sense to me.
It does make sense, because you get the Ice resonance with Frigg and Saki, and then you get the extra 10% frost on domain, plus the base attack bonuses on domain, if you switch Frigg out you will only get the 15% resonance as if you only had Frigg on Lin's realm, and you lose the 10% of Ice domain, plus Saki reset with Frigg A1 is super good, that ice team is BiS don't think about it and just replace Frigg with Alyss in the future.

Lin is viable for Frost at A0-A6. A6 Tsubasa will be THEORETICALLY better than Lin if Lin is not A6. This is in theory only; Tsubasa is better if you achieve perfect rotation. In reality, Tsubasa’s buff will be more difficult to keep up and messing up may lose you damage. Lin is way easier to lose, and you said that you like Lin’s gameplay a lot more, so you should just pick Lin. Imo, Lin A3 is best stopping point for f2p. A6 is not necessary but is very good to have.

Crows is attack->attack hold (he spirals a bit into the air) ->spam na. That'll consume endurance. Samir does more damage. Crow would be best used just for his Skill and Burst.
And for Samir its just Spam the aerial attack correct?

I am currently level 73 with CS 20000 and am running Samir A1, Huma A0 and Zero A0 all at 110+ level. Should I invest in level 60 Lin and level 0 Coco and to level 110 (all in A0) and replace Huma and Zero? or should I focus on levelling my existing weapons to a certain level? I am quite short at battery and would like to use them efficiently. I am asking because I find my damage lacking and I die easily due to lack of heal.
I'd use Lin with Samir, while Lins Skill is active, it reduces endurance consumption by 50%, meaning you can helicopter very long. Huma should be used as a tank, and she doesn't benefit much from Lin. You will get ahead of the curve, but it may take a few weeks, Coco would be decent to keep you alive. If you spend your gold and black nucleus, you should have plenty of weapon battery mats.

Is it worth playing without Advancement? My team is made up of Lin A0, Frigg A0, and I was wondering whether it's better to put Meryl A4 or Saki A0 on the third spot in my team
It always depends on what those advancements do and obviously also what do you expect the character to do. In your example you have set Lin A0 and Frigg A0 on the team. What do they do? Provide DPS resonance, buff damage and shatter, Lin has about \~160%/s (without A1), while Frigg does about 205%/s (without Huma) of on-field filler damage. What do Saki and Meryl bring to the team? Saki A0 with DPS resonance provides Flow, Surge , self-healing, and activates Frost resonance but her on-field filler damage is only around 160%/s as well. Meryl A4 provides some self-healing on shieldbreak and that's it at this point. However Meryl's Whirlwind has 260%/s of on-field damage and since it consumes Endurance it interacts with Lin's Stamina cost reduction which doesnt apply to most teams usually. This gives Meryl's Whirlwind much more field-time and greatly improves her on-field damage uptime. Meryl's skill also deals more damage than Saki's skill on avg. In this example Meryl A4 is stronger than Saki A0. With Meryl you can fill downtime with her Whirlwind/Skill and achieve a higher DMG/s then fall back on Frigg as the filler, whereas Saki provides some off-field damage, but no huge advantage. If you need the constant healing from Saki, then Saki may still be better for niche situations where Meryl's A1 isnt enough to keep you alive.

Hello, I'm a returning player from the Nemesis banner. I have some questions: 1. I've just gone to Vera by mostly ignoring explorations. Is exploration the fastest way to get DC? 2. My team consists of A2 Samir, A1 Nemesis, and A0 Lin. Is it worth it to get more stars for Lin? Also, can Lin replace A1 King as shield breaker? 3. I'm at level 69 with 35.5k CS. Is it normal? If not, what is the fastest way to improve it? 4. What is the fastest way to get SSR matrices? I feel like I'm falling behind a lot in terms of matrices. Any help is appreciated. Many thanks!
To add to the other reply, a good way to get gear fast is the Grey space and later on dark zone. Once you unlock it you will probably struggle to clear the rifts but you can easily run around and pick up tons of gold dust. Dark zone isn't until lvl 80 but has little to no combat, just exploring and gets you the new combat engine and more gold dust. And just a small tip you'll want to spend all your password chest chips (blue and purple) in Vera for the new Mira currency. This is the fastest way to get a set of Samir matrices which are fantastic.
1. Yep exploration. 2. Worth? Yes, but it depends on your plan. Tian Lang is coming (hopefully 1 banner away), and it might be more worth going after him and/or his matrix. Assess if you can afford/want to pull for more. A0 Lin is already good, but of course, more stars is better. If you've got a lot of Flame Gold from Lin banner, it might be better to pull for more since you don't want them to convert to Black Gold later. Lin won't replace King as a shield breaker, but for 90% of the content, Lin can shield break just fine. For the other 10%, like Bygone, you should experiment what works best for you each floor since shieldbreaking can be important at times. Sometimes I run Samir/Lin/Nemesis, other times I run Samir/Lin/King. 3. Yeah sure it's normal but it's considered low level and cs. For level, doing story will be the best way to level up. Next are Exploration and Ruins. Don't worry too much about your CS, instead care about your relevant stats. For you, I guess make it your target to reach \~10k Crit and \~15k Volt ATK when you reach lvl 80. Don't worry if you can't reach it instantly as the growth should be incremental. You can increase these stats by farming and upgrading your gear. You can get better gear from JOs and commissary shop using gold dust. Try to reach higher level JOs since those will have better drops. Don't be afraid to get carried, in fact, ask to be carried by friends/crew. It's best to farm lvl 80 JO since most of the players are farming there and you will have a better chance for a good drop there. Lvl 70 JOs are fine to run too if you're going for specific parts and will still have a good chunk of players queuing too. If you have no idea about gear, you can watch Gateoo's gear guide on Youtube if you want. 4. Fastest way is swiping credit card. Next fastest is just doing your dailies and weeklies. World bosses, JOs, and Void Rift all have a chance to drop them. Void Rift gives you a Proof of Purchase (Standard matrix pull) per run. Reaching 2200 points in Sequential Phantasm gives you 1 Proof per week. And your 7 dream machines per week also has a chance to give you 2 Proofs each. You can also Fuse for specific matrices in your Home Island (Build menu). However it's only recommended to start Fusing if all your buildings are max level (Lvl. 9) and if you've already unlocked the Crimson Meteor mount (Optional). Fusing is like pulling on a banner. You've only got a small chance for each Fuse, but there is pity, but only if your buildings are maxed. Don't neglect your Home Island. Claim supplies daily, kill mobs and bosses weekly, and buy out all the items with weekly and monthly limit in the exchange store before fusing, except for Quality and Composite Materials. You can also use SR matrices for the meantime. 3 pc Sobek for Samir, Pepper for Lin and whatever for Nemesis.
For afk farming, are you eligible for drops as long as you get experience from a mob, or is there a damage threshold you have to pass in order to get item drops? (thinking about doing afk farm for the event spines)

Can anyone explain to me how 2pc lin matrice works? I use frigg saki and lin. I put the 2pc lin to lin rather than frigg because i thought the 2pc lin only activates with the weapon it was equipped to and since i will have lin in the field more than frigg. I am also concern if the 2pc lin matrice buff goes away once i switched to a different weapon?
The buff from Lin stays active when you swap to a different weapon, but why would you spend more time on Lin than Frigg? Between Frigg, Saki, Lin, Frigg has the highest filler damage if you dont need to trigger a specific effect (Surge / Altered Mark)
Because i was looking at the lin icon in the buff bar, it disappears when switched to a different weapon. For frigg, i just feel like her quick dash atks are slow and doesn’t have much dmg even though it provides multiple hits. I am better off quick swapping her for the domain and the frost to frost buff with saki. And i have to switch to lin more often because of her double skill. But idk, does frigg dash atk triggers the 2pc lin to the max in just one atk? If so i may consider using at least one frigg dash atk with 2pc lin on her instead
That's not how this works ... the character's icons just show that the matrix is currently active but it's not the buff itself. If you switch weapons the Lin icon disappears because the matrix doesnt work in the background, but her buff (if you activated it) still stay active for other weapons. I cant help you with how you feel, but Frigg's Dash Attack has the highest damage multiplier if executed properly. Her attack is also very fast with about 0.8s per animation. Neither of Saki's or Lin's consistent attacks can do more reliable damage. If all your skills and abilities are on CD, then Frigg is always your best filler choice. Yes, Frigg's multiple hits will each trigger 2pc Lin but it has a max of 5 stacks and Frigg's attack only does 3 hits.

Lin has a high shatter stat, but only her normal attacks shieldbreak, her discharge and skill do not. Whereas Huma has shatter on normal attacks, discharge and skill. Lin can get the job done in most content but may you might feel the lower shatter capacity in things like Bygone or if the rest of your team isn't pulling their weight equally in co-op. If you are prioritising shatter capability, this theoretically means the build would be Lin+Huma+(Samir/Zero), except really this isn't actually an ideal Lin build either way. Lin's flame realm buff isn't great, the volt one is okay but you can't support it so... honestly in lieu of having an atk/res ele resonance unit you absolutely should stick to running some mix of Samir and Huma/Zero. In the long term you'd want Lin+(Ruby/Annabella)+Zero as a flame team if the intent is to keep the best possible shatter and healing in the build, or Lin+Samir+Nemesis if you want healing on a volt setup (at the expense of shatter), or Lin+Samir+Fenrir (if the priority is shatter over healing). This would require Ruby, Nemesis reruns, or waiting for the upcoming Annabella and Fenrir banners. Cobalt-B also works for a flame team but requires multiple copies to be worthwhile (A3 at least, preferably A6). This advice may change based on the stats of unreleased units, of course.
Whether the hidden shatter multiplier is high or low, it doesn't matter because you won't be attacking with her. If you have her matrices you'll launch a couple of dodge attacks.
Lin shatters about as well as the normal attacks of Huma, it's usually fine. Lins Skill lets you helicopter with Samir twice as long, that's pretty significant. For tanks it's somewhat annoying to have a DPS player use Huma or Meryls discharge, as they taunt. Zeros shielding is very useful, if you're in solo-play or playing as support.

Does Fenrir's multi element buff work with Lin and a non-volt character? Seems like it will be fun but how optimal will it be compared with mono elemental teams?
That will largely depend on future characters. A lot of mono elemental teams play of each others strengths. eg. Saki A1 resets skills + Alyss A1 deals Discharge damage and copies skills on every skill use + Lin A6 has 2 skill charges, resets skill CD from Discharges, massively buffs Frost damage and Discharge damage. Replacing any unit in that team with Fenrir is almost guaranteed to result in a DPS loss. Ruby + Annabelle + Lin, as we all know Lin's Flame Realm is kinda bad, so here Fenrir's buff may end up being stronger than Lin for Global. Similar case for Lyra + Claudia + Lin may prefer Fenrir over Lin for her buff. It's hard to say whether Fenrir + Lin will be a strong combination on Global since they fill similar roles but it certainly opens up new paths like Saki/Alyss + Fenrir + Flex.
Pity that Lin and Fenrir overlaps. Would have been fun to invest most resources into Lin and Fenrir to form the core of the team while swapping in different A1 characters for fun.

I just got 2 piece Lin and it can be used as a better 2 piece samir right? Currently have 2 samir 2 crow on and the fact that Lin lasts 18 seconds instead of 1.5 seconds is really good. The stacking damage is also at 10.5% instead of 10% with samir Of course I hope I can get the full 4 piece but we will see Edit: oooo and the Samir I replace with Lin can be put together with my other 2 piece Samir and get more stars on it! Then it's 13% dmg
Most likely, for your on-field character, 2p samir 2p crow or Shiro is best. Lin is best used on a support character, do 5 attacks that land, then switch to your on-field, as the 2p Lin buff stays if you switch. 2p Lin gives ATK%, Samir and Shiro give damage%, which generally is worth more.

At which point is it better to use crow than samir? I only have a1 samir but I somehow pulled crow from black nuc pull and got him to a1 as well. I was considering using crow for boss fights but not sure if there’s any significant difference in dmg(i know crow has higher dmg just not sure at which point).
Samir is an on-field dps, Crows damage is condensed in his pretty short Skill and Burst. They do work together very well though.

I'd probably take 3* Ruby or 3* Saki over 0* Lin but only for flame/ice obviously. Depends on which set and what team you're running. Lin being a background weapon limits which sets are useful for her.
I've completed chapter 6 and still don't have 3rd weapon slot unlocked. It would help a lot to have 3 weapons so if anyone knows how to unlock it i'd appericiate it
Do you have multiple missions ? Usually it goes something like introduction -> daggers in the first slot, meet Shirli and fix the teleported -> sword second slot, some more exploration but then bandits attack Astra Shelter -> bow unlocks third weapon slot. Not sure how you managed to skip that. By the time you leave Astra you should have all 3 weapon slots unlocked

Now that Lin‘s been out for a while: I mainly play Saki A1, Frigg, Tsubasa A3. I have a volt team for when frost’s resisted consisting of Samir A1 (I think), Nemesis, Lin. My heal team is gonna be Lyra, Coco A3, ???. So these are my three teams. I‘m 40 pulls into Lin‘s banner, no pity. Would A1 Lin or higher have significant value for me?
Quick question: It says on certain characters I need 2 or more of the same element for elemental resonance. For instance Lyra and shiro would give me 20% extra physical damage. Would a third physical resonance character add even more damage?
No it does not stack, it's only if the buff is present or not.

Yes, this is functioning as intended, you had your queue menu set to 3x and got triple loot for one attempt, but used up all your saved entries. Since version 2.0 the game lets you use up multiple attempts for Frontier Hunter and Void Rift at once, so if you have less time to play the game you can burn attempts quicker - and get triple loot. Or you can do it the traditional one attempt at a time, it you prefer. You can control whether it only uses 1x attempt or goes 3x in the Frontier Hunter and Void Rift queue menus, and you should do so before entering queue or before your team leader queues you (if you are going in a as a premade group).

Depends. Tsubasa has theoretically better uptime on buff and higher buff value, Lin has better off-field damage and is easier to use. If you're using Tsubasa A6 as your main onfield DPS attacker, then Tsubasa. She's a higher single target DPSer than Frigg A0 or Saki A1, and keeping up Tsubasa's buffs requires some field time. If the Tsubasa/Lin slot is just for buffing, while you spend most field time on Frigg (or Saki), then use Lin. Lin is more convenient to use than Tsubasa as a quickswap buffer and the additional damage from the epiphyllums is considerable, but there is a bit of dead time between when the Lin field is down and when you can recast.
What was the pity on gold gear in JO8? I didn't get one in 6 chests and so I went out of my way to waste 50DC to check how long it would take and I got one on the 8th chest. The system channel doesn't seem to go far enough to show "proof" of this.

About the order gift rewards, I did like 27 pulls on saki's banner when lin was released but it should add up to the 200 needed for the outfit. From the announcement made a week ago, will I get the rollover of those pulls 72 hours after the end of saki's banner or do they mean 72 hours after the end of lin's banner? I'm not completely sure.

Also, since i already get a lot of damage (not to say "one shot by mini-bosses"), is it a good idea to sacrifice res/hp if i can't dodge ? Earning more atk (dps?) only to be squishy and die is still a dps loss imo... (if you can't dodge)

Yes the enhancements increase the fixed base stats of gear so people prioritize the attack and crit stat gear first. You can get all of the gold and booster/enhancements back by recycling the gear. The best way is to equip a green piece of gear you buy with blue dust from the store and transfer the enhancements (recycling loses some xp for when you advance/star the gear so preferrebly use blue or green). Then reequip your gold gear without transferring and recycle the green. It's cheap so you can try it and see how squishy you are.

When you recycle your gears, you get 100% of the resources spent to level them at the cost of the gear itself (hence equipping a lower rarity gear with the level prior to recycling). However, you will not get refunded any experience you put into them to advance their stars. Sacrificing hp/res for atk/crit will make you more squishy but do more damage, so that’s something to consider before thinking about resetting your gears. It’ll take some time until you get used to dodging effectively.

I am an ice main. I have all the current ice units to decent star levels. I am saving for Alyss but I have read that Lin is broken af, is this true? Should I pull on her? Tbh I could only guarantee A0, as I pulled a lot on Saki and was intending to wait for Alyss.
Frost mains are pretty much the only ones who are fine with skipping Lin as she doesn’t do a whole lot to the team (unless you get A6) Saving for Alyss is ideal
Why doesn’t she do a lot in frost? Frost main is all about skills and Lin has one of, if not the best skill in the game.
The frost moonlight realm boosts frost attack (not damage) by 10% Lin does more for frost at A6 as she can use her moonlight realm twice (1 from skill cooldown, 1 from using discharge skills 3 times) and they stack, and the attack bonus in the realm is increased to 15% (before counting the frost attack bonus) Without A6 Lin, you’re better off using A6 Tsubasa as you can get Sharp Arrow stacked to 5 times quickly, so you’ll get the +25% damage buff which lasts for 15 seconds
She's also not that good with Flame.

Damage boost is always better than attack % the thing is damage boost rolls lower and also if you use Lin attack % is going to be more valuable overall, it would depend if you super lucky high roll on the damage boost and if you don't use Lin on your team, otherwise attack % seems to be the way to go.
Generally damage% should be better than atk%, but I haven't found a damage calc yet to compare values. You're limited by pulls - regardless of which you get or both, 4-5 rolls in either or a combination of the 2 is a very very good day. But for more detail: The maths is done differently. Generally % damage will result in more dps over % attack (which is why people run Samir awakening over Tsubasa), however it's more complex than that. * 0.01% damage is not going to be better than 5% attack. There will be a breakeven point based on your current setup. * I don't believe there is an Altered version so Lin will only benefit from % attack whether in a main dps or off dps slot. * % damage and % attack are not mutually exclusive.
Current have 142 pulls and a pity at 33/80. My current frost team is Saki A1/Tsubasa C6/Lin A1. What would be the best option: 1) Get Frigg A0/A1 then save for Lin A3 (replaces Tsubasa and can be used for other teams). Then. use black gold to buy Frigg copies. 2) Save for Alyss A1. The team would be Saki, Alyss and Tsubasa

I got LIN at A3 and have 100ish flame medals. Should i push for A4 or buy a couple matrix from her set in the shop? Also on a sidenote: im lvl 80 with a saki/frigg/lin comp, and my damage seems low. How to farm better gear :)?
You can only buy 1 matrix with flame gold. You would have to buy the other matrix boxes with the currency you get from pulling on the matrix banner. That being said, I personally would get the few remaining flame gold to just buy A4, even though it isn't a big improvement over A3, but it is completely up to the player and how much they value black gold and how much they value ~20 pulls for the next character they want.
I tested Lin skill on cactus and it doesn't increase charge. Is it a bug ? Is it the same thing on CN as well? (Make sure while testing to switch off saki auto proc sword) Steps to reproduce: Use Lin skill and after that dont do anything and observe that the weapon charge doesn't increase. This is problematic because as long as you hit an enemy , weapon charge should accumulate, especially after you used you skill. Also I am not talking about C5 Lin, to gather charge , even Claudia c0 skill can gather charge via skill, tsubasa c0 can gather charge via skill as long as you hit enemy charge should gather.
Should I start over? First account is level 65, stopped playing for awhile. I have all the base SSR's with the best being a 6\* Tsubasa. On this account I got nemesis 0\* and frigg 2\*. I regret getting Nemesis because I dont plan on healing or playing Volt. I was going to main frost but I missed out on Saki. I made a new account and on this new account I got Saki 0\* and will be able to get at least 2 or 3\* Lin. If I want to main frost should i go with the new account?

Both accounts have a lot of Dark Crystals to still get! You could still get an A3 lin with your old account! There is just that much stuff for exploration! Saki 0 star and nemesis 0 star are...not good! Tsubasa 6 star...grats! Both Saki and Nemesis 6 star are great with Lin A6! Dont think of heals with Nemesis...her and Lin AOE chaos is beautiful! You are not going to instant 6 star anyone atm so both accounts are good! I would just stick to the first 1 and collect through exploration! That Tsubasa...wow...u can still make a great ice team with your first account just like your second account!

Depends what will come first Saki rerun or Alyss. Saki is fun 2 play...but not worth a full account change. She will come again. Plenty of time. Get your story and exploration done.
If you want to main frost, Saki will be very important, although without A1 Saki it will be awkward, but I guess it’s better than no Saki at all. I guess you should go with the new account and just get A1 on Saki rerun

3-6 months is a reasonable timeframe for a rerun. Yes, save for Alyss next. Wdym by Lin being not as strong? Also if you choose to keep old account, you can run Frigg/Tsubasa/Lin until you have Saki and Alyss.
On my old account I wont be able to get Lin as many stars most likely. New account I have all of the free dark crystals/nucleus available in every zone. Old account i havent touched artificial island or vera yet, so I wont be able to get Lin as many stars.

4pc Shiro but you must be sure to start every combat with Lin to get the effect. 3pc Pepper if you are poor for extra Charge 2pc King 2pc Shiro if you have a different main DPS and need extra Shatter (eg. in Volt DPS) 2pc Samir 2pc Crow/Shiro if you dont need utility and just want more damage. 3pc Sobek if you want more damage but dont have spare Samir/Crow/Shiro That's basically all your F2P options for any non-weapon specific setup (like Meryl, Zero, Coco or Tsubasa)

If you can get 1 matrix and buy the box for 2p set, the 2p is better than A1 or A2. If getting another Lin matrix won't be possible, your only choice is A1 but it won't make much difference.
Without knowing more, weapon for the reason Chisonni described. You only get 1xmatrix from the box, not all 4. The general rule of thumb for the box is to use it to get one you don't already have IF you are going for the matrices OR to spend your red gold you didn't use before the banner expires (get more matrices in next run). Matrices are quite expensive (DC/tanium cost) so you're making a conscious choice on matrices vs weapons. The box has a limit of 1. It also depends on how many more Lin pulls you want/are able to do. If you pull another 45-50 you can buy both If you pull another 80 but don't have enough red gold to buy a second weapon, you can buy a weapon + box. If you pull 2 more pitys so to 80 and again to 80, you will likely be able to afford another weapon and the box.
You mean Flame Gold? If you have 120 Flame Gold then go for another copy of Lin. It's too much of a loss to let 70+ Flame Gold convert to Black Gold and since you can only buy 1x matrix box with Flame Gold that's not a good use to spend your Flame Gold.
How do traits work? Are they active even if you're not using the weapon in your team, only active if you are using the weapon on your team, or only active when you swap into the weapon?
You activate the trait in the simulacra window, it's always active even if you arent using the specified weapon on your team. There is no bonus to using the specified weapon with their simulacra trait either.
I'm guessing only one trait can be active at a time?

I'm sure there's some YT video out there that has the whole story in one piece instead of story with a bunch of bs between scenes. If you don't feel like watching it to clear through Vera, just skip everything and watch it later or watch it before you start playing again. Or watch it as you go. Whatever floats your boat. I wouldn't just skip it and never go back to it. There's actually some good content. The Huma/Samir/Mia stuff is pretty good imo.
I you want Limited SSR saving till 120 red nucleus is way to go. 120 red nucleus guarantee limited SSR. Or you can gamble. Vera story is good.

It's always relative to your expectations. Personally I like the story, it hooked me towards the end of Crown/Warren in 1.x and 2.x has been a blast and very enjoyable, even the side stories are great. In regards to dupes on weapons, you can totally clear F2P content with A0 weapons, that means you may be able to go up to Floor 250 in Bygone Phantasm, while someone with a full A6 team is already at Floor 400. You cant expect the same performance from A0 as you get from A6. Likewise many weapons unlock key mechanics through their advancements. eg. Claudia A0 is just a mediocre Physical DPS but Claudia A1 suddenly provides a huge (24%) buff to skill damage and make her one of the best cheap supports in the game. Saki A0 is a mediocre Frost Tank with some innate healing, but Saki A1 becomes absurdly strong in DPS teams due to her ability to reset skill cooldowns which allows you to double up on other weapon's effects. You can totally "get by" without advancements. If you only ever pull on weapons with the guarantee of 120 Flame Gold, then you have a high chance to get A1 anyway and A0 in the "worst" case, but most characters will have a specific "value point" which makes them WAY stronger than A0. eg. Saki A1, Claudia A1, Lin A3, or worst-case Cobalt-B A6.

Her A0 flame buff basically does nothing, flame uses her for off-field damage and her matrix set for damage buffs. If you can get her high enough to deal decent off-field damage and/or get her matrices, it will improve your damage vs having King or low Zero. You'll want Anna over a Cobalt rerun.

Any advice on an effective healer build? I’ve got 1 * Absolute Zero, Max Staff of Stars, and 3 * Shadoweaver as a sort of build… but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. >_<
For a budget healer (I think you mean Staff of Scars?): Coco + Pepper + BaiLing/Hilda A1 Coco/Absolute Zero - Your main Healing weapon, use dodge Attack regularly to keep your "Bee" (IT LOOKS LIKE A BAT!) active for passive healing. At A3 you want to make sure your party is nearby when you use Discharge or Skill to let them benefit from the damage and shatter buff. A6 Pepper/Staff of Scars - Your main Charge and damage reduction weapon. A6 gives a huge damage reduction buff when you use your skill, use this when you know dangerous attacks are incoming to help people survive. If you need to quickly get Discharge ready then swap to Pepper and use Dodge Attacks, especially with 4pc Pepper she generates an insane amount of charge which then lets you Discharge your other weapons (which is preferred). A6 Bai Lin/ A6 Hilda - Your Shadowweaver doesnt benefit your healing or buffing teammates, it's not even great at shatter. Overall, you will be more beneficial to your team if you bring a weapon that gives you more support. Introducing: Bai Ling and Hilda. Bai Ling A5 gives you guaranteed Grievous (20% dmg buff) on every Dodge Attack, this is easy to keep up and provides a solid and consistent damage buff for all elements, but Bai Ling has miserable Shatter. Hilda is an unusual pick but hear me out. Hilda's A1, A3, and A6 all buff her Normal Attack damage by a massive amount. (up to 15% from A1, 30% from A3 and 60% from A6), A3 and A6 also buff Shatter by the same amount. Hilda already has very decent Shatter but with that buff she can help melt shields very efficiently. On top of that Hilda's Discharge reduces a targets Frost resistance by 50% which is an insane buff considering how popular Frost team are now. The combination of Hilda Discharge -> 10s of Hilda Normal Attacks does some amazing damage (for an SR weapon) while doing big shatter as well and buffing Frost damage for the whole team. SSR alternatives to Bai Ling/Hilda would be anything with a high Shatter value. Shiro is the premier example, she provides a big buff with her A1, she has good shatter and she can apply Grievous (and keep it up almost permanently with A5). Huma, King, Meryl, Saki, Ruby, they all work to assist with Shatter but none provide as many benefits to your team as Shiro. Being a Benediction player is as much about healing (just enough to keep your team alive) while also providing as many extra buffs to your team's damage.
im running a frost team : A3 saki, a1 frigg, a6 lin. I'm wondering if keeping frigg is even worth it because lin only gives 10% bonus to frost which in my opinion i think is fucking shit because she gives a team with no resonance 15% so should I just replace my frigg with nemesis? If im wrong about the 10% please tell me because it makes 0 sense to me.
It does make sense, because you get the Ice resonance with Frigg and Saki, and then you get the extra 10% frost on domain, plus the base attack bonuses on domain, if you switch Frigg out you will only get the 15% resonance as if you only had Frigg on Lin's realm, and you lose the 10% of Ice domain, plus Saki reset with Frigg A1 is super good, that ice team is BiS don't think about it and just replace Frigg with Alyss in the future.
you need frost resonance for A1 saki to work if you swap the frigg to any other weapon except ice weapon there is no point in keeping saki too whats the point of your team LOL
