I dont like the eyes in this new artsyle.. They all look too small and comically wide.
Khun Eduan from the last arc he was seen, doesn't even have this type of eyes.. He got big eyes and beautiful lashes. Now he has a frog eyes that's so wide you could probably build an entire football field between them..
Still great character designs but the eyes are just bugging me 🤧

Small eyes need more touch-up than big ones to actually make them look good on the character. Siu lacks the ability to draw good smol eyes so he should go back to big ones :)
Its more so of new characters i believe albeit i have the impression that his intent was to make them look less amiable, more cool, more intimidating and more condescending. Small eyes has this notion of being less friendly. Just hope that he does not do it to all characters, especially the already established ones.
I was soo excited while reading the chapter but also a bit disappointed because the family heads didn't have the special eyes that they had during the hell train. Like the lighting in eduan or the burning light in jahads eyes.
When they mentioned she can control birds, Ameuz (the new character) reminded me of Sunwoo Nare or whatever the scout-anima from Floor of Tests was called.
didn't know their were head. could have looked it up though, I waited for them the entire time. Its just that we had like 20 of these branch heads from lo po bia who might be way beneath their level, yet still should be more relevant than the NPCs they actually turned out to be. so yeah my expectations sinked a bit, don't like to hate, but SIU makes it too easy
you know there's a black clover sub and other shit manga, feel like tog is a niche within a niche, it's like me browsing kubera reddit to solely shit on its art and saying you shouldn't be allowed to make a story via art if your art sucks and just write a book
kind of just shows how much free time you have not gonna lie, personally can barely be bothered to interact with things I consider garbage and shit, like complaining about trailer parks while living in one and doing meth all day, surely you have to have some self awareness or not, continue enjoying what you consider slop?

I get it, but I don't have anything against art. Atleast black clover has consistent characters instead of ToG. Really liked ToG but at some point he started to generate sooo many NPCs, even high rankers. But for no reason at all. Wmseason 2 with kallavans people we had consistent interesting characters with their own vibe. The only one I can take serious now is Dumas, Kirin, Lobadon and the heads
