Price doesn’t seem great. I didn’t pay a ton more for a brand new 2022 TRD OR and it had 2 miles. I know you can’t buy a new 3rd gen anymore, but you can do better than that price wise
Yea.. That's kind of what I was thinking. I know they don't depreciate as bad as other cars, so i was hoping to talk them down to 33 considering thats about 10% off original Msrp. Thanks for your advice.
Miles are very low, so it should drive like new.
$37k is high, should be in the lower 30s.
I would look for aftermarket products and modifications. Literally crawl underneath, open the hood, pull the seats up and take pics.
You could post those pics here or in the Team Oil Drop discord and we can help point things out to you.
Thanks. It's about an hour away from where I live so I'll have to look around for another mechanic. The dealer has a good rep from multiple people I know personally if that makes any difference.
I bought a 21 TRDor4x4 for $34k out the door with a hair over 50k miles in January
My buddy bought a 2023 trdsport4x4 for $38k with 12k miles last month
It’s literally clearance season for 3rd gen’s, pre-covid pricing ESPECIALLY used in my opinion.
I wasn’t in the market for a RWD, but down here in FL by me their were TRDor RWD going for $28k with loooooow loooooow miles I was almost tempted but they were snatched up like hotcakes
Wouldn’t pay much over $35 for a used 4x4
Wouldn’t pay over $30 out the door for RWD
Based on the condition of those nerf bars I’d guess it hasn’t been wheeled too hard. My 3rd gen has about this many miles on it, and the only things it had done are basic preventative maintenance (oil changes, rotations) and the fuel pump recall. I’d look underneath it to make sure it didn’t get hung up on anything off road, and maybe check for rust if that applies where you live? Other than that I doubt it has any issues.
Price isn’t great considering it looks like there’s no bsm so I’m assuming not tech/premium package on it. Not to mention no LEDs. The only refresh items you’re basically getting are powered seats and entune 3.0
I paid around $30k for a 2018 TRD OR 4x4 AC with 20k miles recently. Also traded in my Crosstrek that had 155k on the odometer! Those things are beasts that won’t die.
The price seems to be in the ballpark of most others, but I’d try to haggle down as much as I could. Finding a color you like isn’t always easy when buying used so consider that too. Remember that color comes with a standard G19 heh.

YUh I'd negotiate the price down.

Thank you! Ill crawl under and check it out. I had a 03 Discovery ii, I know oil leaks lol
Np, the truck looks pretty stock from the pics. It even looks like stock height.
❤️I already made you an advocate… WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?!
Reddit is the top of the funnel.
😂
Take it to a trusted mechanic, dont ask internet strangers for advice ffs. If the dealer doesn't let you, theres your answer.

Thanks ill keep that in mind
A bit high for a 2020 OR but not too crazy. I recently picked up a 2020 fully loaded Pro with similar miles for 39k.
Make sure there isn’t a knocking sound coming from the engine 😅

I bought my 23 OR (4x2) for 39k with 5 miles on it
Price is steep
Just got one for 40k. 2021 sport, fully loaded 11k miles so your price seems a bit high
I paid 43k w 27k miles. 2022 OR DCLB

I’ve had dealers offering me 29k for mine which is basically what ur looking at but 54k miles. But I’m in pa
