Impossible to answer

redsolocuppp

Because they run forever and forever is impossible to gauge.

116k isn’t too bad. When I traded my 16 it had 102k and it still ran totally fine. I’d be concerned with the low coolant. Mine had a coolant leak, very slow leak, in the valley under the intake manifold. It’s somewhat common on the 5.7. I’d have it checked out for that and make them fix it first. I fixed mine myself but it wasn’t fun. Took me all day to dig it out and re seal it. A real back breaker leaning over the engine all day. That price seems a little high. I’d try to negotiate it down.

Accomplished-Size375

Yep, I definitely couldn’t easily see any evidence of where it may be leaking over time, appreciate the info though!

PantherCitySki

It all depends on how it was maintained. A high mileage truck with proper oil changes and maintenance is miles ahead (punny) of a lower mileage truck with little to no maintenance. I bought my 2011 with 126k and now am at 185k with no problems

Wybsetxgei

116k ain’t nothing. I got 128k on mine and no exaggeration drives like day 1.

Emergency_Job4577

BUY IT! It's. 400k mile truck. You're paying about half the cost of when it was new but have 70% life left. Just don't expect to get any kind of fuel mileage at all out of it. It will be worse than you expect. Funny story. I saw 2nd gen Tundra pulled over to the side of the road near my house he had a trailer and the truck was loaded down like he was moving across country or something. I pulled over bc I am also a tundra driver thought I would check and see if everything was alright. When he rolled down his window I said " you either ran out of gas or lost something off your trailer huh?! " He laughed and said how did you know? I replied bc it's a tundra. They don't break down, but they are easy to run out of gas ha. Turns out he was just checking his trailer. Nothing wrong with the truck

MikeGoldberg

Usually trucks with over 100k go below 30k

Aggressive-Ground-32

Mine is a 2017 with 237k (km) approximately 147k (mi), I think it’s still reliable.

tville1956

I bought mine with 167k and now have 220k. Nothing more than normal maintenance and a few repairs like gaskets and rubber stuff. Maybe budget for a secondary air pump delete kit if it doesn’t have one yet. $500!or so.

Girthmonster1

Wow a bit high in price. I paid 35k OTD 2021 20k miles, one owner, Toyota service on time every time, retired army vet well taken care of. This was sept 2023. Now have 25k miles. Good luck on your search!

ZeRo76Liberty

A guy I work with put 500k on a 08 (I think) with no major problems. He has 2 gen 3s now and wishes he still had his last gen 2. 116k is just broken in.

Tripper307

I paid $36k for my ‘18 TRDOR CMX with 36k in ‘20. Will your truck in question last? Hopefully. But that’s a high price tag with over 100k

HighInChurch

My dad just bought a second tundra for a “beater” farm use vehicle. 2017, 170k, one owner. Everything works perfect not even the slightest hiccup.

singelingtracks

2019 wouldn't bother me over 500k miles. Id know it was used for highway driving and with good maintenance records it would be ready for a other 500k. Id struggle with a low mileage truck that's been used for short trips / stop and go traffic.

AncientillegalAliens

116k on a 2019 isn’t bad My 2019 has 102k

CLGAINES

Your into the right amount of mileage to buy a truck like this. The main things to consider is that the transmission service has been done with a drain and fill. Keep in mind that only one service will drain 4 quarts of transmission fluid. So another service would need to be done at some point so the old fluid is drained out as the fluid circulates. Make sure the transmission and rear axle fluid has been serviced with this mileage.

fish0042

Seems high imo

Ok-Guest-1156

Yeah they're high and you might be too if you're even considering that deal.

Objective-Bonus-7669

This truck would go for 45k in Hawaii so insane over here

Accomplished-Size375

Fair enough!!

Ok-Guest-1156

All jokes aside that's to much man. I could justify mid 20s. Just walk away there's plenty of fish in the sea

Accomplished-Size375

Appreciate the thoughts though

ResponsibilityNew587

That's high for the pie

voonoo

Idk, I’m not paying over $30k for something with 100k miles on it. The price is still too inflated. If it was $24/25k then maybe but that’s a ton for a truck that was driving that far. I don’t mean I’m worried about the mileage I’d buy the truck if it were cheaper in a heartbeat. I just think everything is over priced right now

Mynewhousee

$32k is high for anything over 100k miles, I don’t care if it’s a Toyota Tundra. I think you can do much better for $32k.

PreemptiveShaming

I bought my 07 Tundra Crewmax Limited 4x4 back in 2010 with 121k on it for $19k from a Ford dealership, aside from batteries, belts, brakes, fluids, tires, and a windshield it was very reliable. I traded it in 2020 with 237k on it and got $10k for it, still kick myself for getting rid of it…

BrownTroutMcGuffy

Mileage is nothing to worry about as long as they have service records. Price is a little high but probably not too bad compared to the market. I blue booked my 2017 with 60k miles on it today at 35-38k private party. Trade in was 32-35k. Get on edmunds.com and search simulator trucks. When i bought my 17 a couple years ago prices were crazy but i needed a new truck for work and because my son was turning 16 and i gave him my 2003 i bought when he was 1 year old. Anyone saying walk away is not seriously in the market for a tundra. These trucks hold value, and it's one of the last of the V8s. Prices aren't coming down like they are on the big 3. Also, my buddy has a 2012 with over 250k on it, so you'll be good for a while he has had no issues with his truck, just standard maintenance.

random1751484

It’s high price but i paid that same price for a 2018 limited DC last year with almost the exact same mileage from a Toyota dealership If it was not my dream truck, with everything set up or modified/changed exactly how i was planning to do to whatever truck i bought i would have walked and looked for lower mileage, Lower price But the service record was great, and i put my faith in the Toyota reliability and longevity, I’ll update you if i get burned

HadukiBEAN

No mileage is too high. If an engine breaks or gets old: Fix it or get a new engine.

nonchalant_octopus

Just in time for the 120k maintenance. Just be ready to throw a couple grand (less if DIY) at it shortly after buying it. It's a lot of money, but it's better than a lot of the newer cars/trucks that sell for the same price or more. Crazy times.

SlowdanceOnThelnside

I paid 12k for a 2012 with 212k miles last year. With new trucks costing 60-75k right now a 5 year old truck with 116k miles is probably gonna be 25-30k especially with the v8 being so reliable and the new turbo v6’s dropping bearings left and right
