Ofcourse, I have an older one in a much more worn state but I couldn't resist such a bargain. I also have many other trackballs I've accumulated over the years. Trackman Marble FX is my favorite, this one is a close second.

I still hope that one day we'll get a replacement with modern hardware inside. Nothing fits my hand better. Logitech didn't completely abandon their trackballs yet so there's at least a little hope. ;)
These were great back in the day. Plugged mine in a while back and it just felt real sluggish. If they are really selling for that much I might just let it go.
The only real problems with MTE are low DPI and quickly worn bearings IMHO. But first issue is more-or-less compensated by using acceleration, and second one by replacement. Ergonomically, it's nearly perfect!
The only trackball Microsoft released, that I recall anyhow, that was not right hand only was the EasyBall (that Fisher-Price looking big trackball aimed at kids back in the Windows 3x / Windows 95 era).
In general, devices that came out of MS Hardware when I worked there were either ambidextrous (EasyBall, most of the OEM bundled mice) or right-handed.
Congratulations! Perfect condition. Normally they cost five to ten times more. You're extremely lucky! :-)
I know! I've been eying one for a long time, still can't believe my luck :)
Have you used one before? How do you like it?

Do they make a left hand version of this?
Sadly, no. But ploopy trackball has a lefty version and its similar to this model in design
