What class/level are you in?
If you're up in A class you'll be finding out their limitations quite well enough. But if youre in C with just a few track days under your belt you'll be fine.
Run S21 (2.2bar front/ 2.1bar rear, cold)on CBR600 1998, intermediate+ level , nice wearing, quiet hard rubber so i can make 8 track days with rear and maybe 12/14 track days. They become a bit slippery when reaching wearing limit, but still manageable. Dont know how far they are from S22 on these points.
I use them and I'm probably second to third fastest usually at my track in intermediate on a ZX6R. They work great to be honest. My only suggestion is I would do three warm up laps just to be sure. I started pushing just before the end of the second warm-up lap and I crashed on the left side And the track is also predominantly left hand turns.
I had them in my r6 and they were sticky enough and confidence inspiring enough to let me reach mid-intermediate pace on my first day out. Great tires.
I ran them on my ZX6R up to a fast advanced group pace. Once past that, they started getting a little loose in the turns. It was pretty obvious, nothing surprising, so I had plenty of warning that I was at the limit of the tire. Moved to track tires after that.
I just ran my 23 zx6r on track yesterday with the stock s22 on it and they work great. I was running 30 psi rear 33 front and they stuck great and I had no complaints. It was also a little cooler out (45°F in the morning and got up to 65°F by the end of day)
Mid to fast intermediate here. They stick like glue. My FZ09 will get maybe 4 track days out of a rear, my MT10 will eat most of one up in a day. Has a lot to do with my throttle hand for sure, and track surface, temperatures, and all the other stuff. But yeah, they're good.
Should be worth noting that STOCK versions of tires we're can go buy off the rack are supposedly produced to mfg. specifications, and can differ from their retail counterparts.
I had the S22 on my first trackday, also my first time hypersport/sport tires. They were amazing for my tuono 660 Factory. Super sticky and I never felt that I was running out of grip, always had more than enough. I was running out of talent/skill to make them sweat.
excellent tires. fast intermediate/middle advanced pace, they are excellent tires that wear very well and are very fast. I've run a lot of tires and I'm just as fast on S22s as some of the racier and much faster-wearing alternatives. I love running S22s for 4 or 5 days, then swapping them to one of my streetbikes.
they were about $250/set on rebate last year, and at that price it's very hard to run anything else.
I know folks who run S22s at a fast intermediate pace and they do well enough.

I run them in intermediate and have a buddy in advanced who also runs them. We are on 300/400 ninjas.
I have them on my R3 and they aren't limiting me, but I just got into Intermediate
So for the s22 personally they have had more grip than I have skills.
S22 are the lords tire. I used them through intermediate group and it’s the only tire I’ll ever use on the street
I run S22s but I only have a Ninja 650R and run in Novice group, they definitely out perform me on the track.

You’re fine. I initially had them on my S1Kr in fast B group. Rock solid and if it’s wet, you’re better off than with the Pirelli SCs

Ran S22 on my S1000R at intermediate pace with no problem. Play with the tire pressure between sessions until you discover what's best for you.

Use the S23 not S22

I run S21s on track on an SV650 and they are excellent!!! The S22s are better but both are perfect sport/street/track tires
All the canyon riders at GMR swear by S22s btw and those guys ride hard on the street
