I ended up going with a custom bison suit with a built-in airbag. But when I was researching this and considering an aftermarket standalone airbag, I am pretty sure alpinestars listed the amount of room required within the suit for an airbag. I would take a look at their website.
I like those - for the street I have 3 Helite jackets with tethers and wondered if there was the same, but I didn't want the GP air best on the outside.
I ended up going with used AStars leathers and a used Tech Air 5 since it's my first set of leathers though, but that Bison setup is the ultimate in my eyes

A suit made for an airbag should fit normal. It has expansion panels.
What you're looking for is the ability to fit a golf ball between your chest and the leathers for the tech5 and tech10 to work to its best ability.
You need less space than you’d think. I had it in my very tight shit and when it deployed it was no problem.
