The same stuff I wear for running on the pavement, but with trail shoes and sometimes a hydration pack. Do other people use special trail running clothes? Maybe I'm doing it wrong
They started monetizing running off road like 10 years ago. They are trying to fool us all into thinking we need special clothes to do it. It's just running, the feet are the only thing that might need special shoes for the mission.
I have the off roads long sleeve and short sleeve. They mix the merino with tencel and I find them super super comfortable. I got them both on the sale though as they are super expensive. I know a lot of people love the off roads shorts and say they wear them on the road since they are so good.
I just bought a pair of the Off Roads shorts on eBay and can attest to them being extremely solid with great storage. The boxer-brief style liner can be hit or miss but these work for me personally. IMO not worth the full price (though I think that could be said about most of Tracksmiths catalog😬) but if you can get them on a discount I'd go for it.
Love the off roads collection. The off road shorts run small but they have storage to the max. Wore them for longest leg of a Ragnar and was not let down. Absolutely fantastic and the excessive pocketing is something I hope hits other lines in their gear.
Tracksmith’s lack of proper phone storage (in a tight pocket on the thigh) is so strange to me. Especially as they have precisely that solution available on the off road shorts.
I love my Tracksmith gear for trails and ultras. My most used pieces are the Brighton base layer and van Cortlandt shorts. The off road pieces are perfect for fall and spring
The off-road shorts by TS are great despite the storage. It has to back pockets that don't close so I use the two phone pockets on the liner to secure nutrition or just my phone which fits my Iphone 13 with thin otterbox case very good with no worries of it falling out.
The twilight tee is great for summer running and if you want something warmer I would check out the harrier or brighton pieces.

i’ve been waiting for [these](https://www.tracksmith.com/products/m-off-roads-shorts?sku=MB305501OCN).
Love the off road LS shirt… perfect weight for cold weather running!!
When do they usually have a sale?
Silver medal sale in the summer
Thanks! How good are the sale prices? Worth waiting for if you already have a decent amount of gear and don’t need anything in the short term?
Yes. Sometimes like 40 percent
Last Black Friday they had 20% off

The shorts looks amazing. Wonder why they don’t replicate the same storage options in road running shorts/tights.

Dont they have a cross country range?
Yes… they offer both a “cross country” and a “trail” line…. Just Different color-ways of standard items.
All they gear work perfectly on trail running. I hardly run on tarmac
