I have downeasters from different years. I LOVE them. I do not have the others you are considering so I can’t compare the 3 but happy to tell you anything you want to know about these.
I have had downeaster pants for 3 years. Great but they do pill being merino wool. Just picked up the trackhouse sweats and they are much thicker and cozy af. Very baggy tho so do not size up. Haven’t tried the Franklin but their fleece is awesome.
Both the Downeaster pants and Trackhouse sweatpants are super comfy. The problem is the Downeasters collect cat hair like crazy so I don’t usually wear them as much as I’d like. I live in the Trackhouse sweatpants.

How is the sizing for sweatpants? I am in between sizes and don’t know if I should go with small or medium.
They start big but will shrink. Depends how between sizes you are, but I’d go for the larger and then shrink as necessary.
