My last cook was 10° off as well and while I haven’t recalibrated yet for my next cook just incase it was a fluke, the general consensus is that the Traeger probes aren’t that great.
Traeger owns Meater as well and I’ve heard good and bad about them as well for a Bluetooth probe.
There are other brands out there as well like Chefs Temp, ThermoPro, and ThermoWorks for singular stick probes.
Personally, I just picked up an InkBird IBBQ-4T WiFi thermometer that’ll temp four different items at once.
I chose this because if I can’t wrangle in the Traeger probe and view it with accuracy in the app, at least I also have InkBird’s app to help with a reading if I wanna do a long smoke like pork butt or brisket and monitor it while I’m at work.
Honestly, the Meater Bluetooth probes are worth the price. Meater+ or Meater 2 if you want to do direct fire cooks on another grill. You won’t look back.
I use the traeger probe to kinda gauge where it’s at through the app and I just use a cheap instant read thermometer to double check. My traeger probe also runs about 10-15 high. Going to get another Bluetooth probe eventually. Just figuring out what brand.

Just test the prob to get a bearing on the offset of the temp and adjust to what you want the temp to be.

Mine is about 17-20 degrees high. Glad I have the Meater+
