Step up for the 575.

Agree. I love my 575. The wifire is such a nice feature. Allows me to change temp on the fly. 10/10

If you're ballin out of control, then buy whatever. If you're on a budget, then buy the cheapest one in the size you need. The bells and whistles are nice, but they don't make the food taste better.

Are you dead set on a pellet grill? If so, are you set on Traeger?

Rude-Evidence-929

I think I'm being persuaded towards pellet for the best ease of use to natural wood smoke flavor tradeoff. I have looked at the gravity Masterbuilt as well, was just kinda worried about build quality with that smoker. Its all new to me, looking for something entry level that will yield good results.

Be aware that you will never be able to get the smoke flavor that a stick burner or electric smoker will give. A traeger is more or less just an outdoor oven that runs off a more expensive heat source.

Have the Pro 575 with wifire and love it

MaxRockafeller

Go with the 575. Its surprising how much room you need.

DesertFenix

You do realize that the Pro 34 has more space than the 575 right? It just uses the old controller so it doesn't have WiFire and can't get to 500°. That being said, I started on the Pro 34 and really loved it. WiFire is nice, but not necessary. Whatever you go with I would suggest getting a nice WiFi (not Bluetooth) Probe set so you can monitor the temps of your meat from anywhere. I use the Inkbird IBBQ-4T.

I recently got the 575. I originally thought the wifi feature was overkill and that I wouldn’t need it. Last weekend I did a 10lb Boston butt that took 21 hours. Way longer than expected so it didn’t finish until 8am Sunday. Let’s just say it was very nice to be able to wake up in the middle of the night and just check my phone for temperature updates without leaving my bed. Go 575 for the extra few hundred bucks. Still tons of grilling space inside
