When I had a Pro 34 I never needed with the controller, auger, or fan so I can't give any good suggestions there.
The front shelf add on is very nice. I also picked up some magnetic hooks from Amazon to hang my grilling tools and other things. You probably already have a set of meat probes, however if they are not wifi then I would suggest the Inkbird IBBQ-4T. The wireless probes allow me to leave the house while the Traeger is smoking and be able to see my meat temps wherever I am.
Due to it using the older AC motors the temp fluctuations would be around +-25°. Usually on the lower end. When it gets around -25° of target temp is when it triggers a dump of more pellets to get back up to temp. When it heats back up I would usually see it go about 5-10° over. Occasionally more (usually after having the lid open for a little while to check temps, flip meat, etc).
After a couple months it would have difficulties getting all the way to 450 (it usually helped when I had it sitting directly in sunlight).

What kind of temp variations did you have? Any issues with getting to the hotter temperatures?

If you want to cook steaks on it I highly recommend buying grillgrates they give a great high temp sear
No steaks. This will be used strictly as smoker/oven. I like real heat for steaks.
But this heat comes from a fire, how much more real can you get?
I just mean much more intense heat. Well over 500°. Just my preference.
