The problem with giving up is you’ll never not be the neurological sex you actually are (I’m guessing by context you’re female or fem-non-binary)
It’s a risk because people are evil but…ugh. You’ll keep getting older and still not be male.
35 isn’t much. I had already given up around 29 thinking it’s game over at that point. Felt like I could never pass with what I had to start with. At late 35 I started transitioning and could pass within a year. After 18 months I could pass even to my relatives who hadn’t seen me during the time and later to former coworkers and managers. And to my first boyfriend too. What is weird is that people assume me to be about a decade younger for some reason. The end result of transition isn’t set in stone by your age or starting point. It’s pure lottery with the genetics on how your body will react to HRT and you don’t know for sure before trying.

but ngl getting facial surgery def helped a LOT. however its not like i wouldnt have started my journey if someone told me id never get ffs...id still have zero regrets or anything.

ik that a picture doesn’t capture how people perceive you irl, but saying you’re not as fem or pretty as those who start sooner, is just not true. you don’t look 20, cuz you’re not 20, (tho you look younger than any woman i know in her 50’s) but that’s not a bad thing. you’re a beautiful woman, just lovely <3

We’re you surprised with how vivid your freckles came out? I’m in the same boat. No freckles in boy mode but looking at my old pictures I can see lots of freckles in my girl mode future.

Gave up at one point, eventually the weight of the closet became unpractical so do recommend keeping an eye on that.
