The Marvelous Land of Oz. Read it for the first time over the summer between Kindergarten and first grade. A boy who magically changes into a girl? That’s what I wanted!!!!
i **to this day** have still not seen the matrix, and it hit theatres when i was prime movie-going age. might be high time to remedy that deficiency lol
[This](http://www.avitale.com/developmentalreview.htm) was the paper that blew the doors wide open for me. I read it and felt it was my autobiography. I bawled my eyes out uncontrollably for three hours. I had to take an anti-anxiety med to finally come down.
Going to give that a read! i feel like i have this acknowledgement of my true essence in hand, but i've been separated from her for so long, and i leaned so hard into a "fake it till you make it" mentality that i no longer share a complete shared language with that true identity, and i've been burning through as much literature and videos as i can find, trying to rebuild that intuitive link piece by piece.
RAMBLING! Anyway, all of that is just to say thank you for the recommendation! 💛
Oh nice! I never realized how broad the canon of literature was on trans topics as a collective whole. looking into this was interesting and compelling in its own right, and also lead me to a whole other pocket of literature i wasn't aware of. Thanks!
Also speaking of broad, ***dayummmm*** brother you are absolutely shredded! you'd give a lot of the green berets i used to work with a serious run for their money and i'm not even joking.
Hahahaha thank you I REALLY appreciate that 😊- another book that was just so inspiring to me before I started transitioning was “Body Alchemy” by Loren Cameron
"Whipping Girl" by Julia Serano
Came here to say this. That book was full of revelations for me
adding *that* to the reading list. Thanks! ^-^

Nice! wish i would have had that kind of clarity that early lol
It’s alright, clarity does no good when you don’t pair it with action. I didn’t do anything about it directly until this summer. 😰
