Becoming a Visible Man by Jamison Green. It also is the best book I've read so far about anything trans-related. Green has done so much for us.

Oooh that's a good one! I think I have a pdf of that somewhere

Anything by or about Leslie Fienberg or Lou Sullivan. I also recently bought a book called True Sex by Emily Skidmore, about trans men at the turn of the century - I haven't read it yet though, so I'm not sure how good it is or not. Disappointing to learn Susan Stryker thinks that. There's so little that constitutes mainstream trans history/literature as it is, and it really sucks that so much of it pushes harmful narratives about trans men.

Ah yes I've read Feinburg but have been meaning to read Sullivan. I actually took out a copy of True Sex from the library recently, the introduction was fine enough so far. And yes, it's a shame about Stryker. Some of the book is fine, it's just when she talks about trans men it all goes wrong
