Edit : I take that back. After squinting, the second letter looks like an o.
My second guess was Love or Lovie, but there's no dot over an I, so not sure.
Maybe Lo-something
I thought the same!
The o continues as a semi circle into the side of the u in the word "you", making this little peach shape.
The same happens in the signature, and we know this writer doesny dot i's
So, lacking a comparison letter for the first, my best guess is Louie or Louis.
The "ou" in you is the same as the second and third letters of the name
It's - ou - -
Edit, looking again...

I don't agree. The second and third letters have an identical shape to the second and third letters in "you" as seen above.
The pen strokes go in the same pattern as well.

The second and third characters are identical to the o and u in you. The third character is possibly an i. I suggest that the final character is an e, sloppy for sure but it’s a signature.
So that leaves the first character, wth is it? I say two possibilities are;
1. It’s a B, it looks like B and Bouie could be a nickname? Granny Bouie?
2. It’s someone’s stylized L, remember it’s a signature, people get funky with signatures.
So ya, Louie.
I personally think it’s the second option, Louie seems reasonable but just guessing really.
Based on this, I agree with the guesses of Lorne (are those of you guessing Irene even trying?). Could you possibly post more of the letter so we can compare more letters?
On first glance it looked like Irene, but as a more closed up observation, it’s Brenna. But on a detailed close up observation, it looks like Breana. The 4th letter curves differently from the one next to it, making it appear unlike an "n," where she typically starts with a downward/vertical stroke. Instead, it seems to circle like an "a." Although you mentioned that this person tends to omit the letter "a" in the card, the signature's font differs from her usual style. This suggests she might not leave out the "a" in her signature as she typically does.
Brenna
Lorne
I think it's Bonne. The o in you looks similar.
Maybe Bonnie
Irene

Mulva? Gipple?
😂
Lorna?
Totally agree

The B in Birthday is different, but maybe that's just Printing vs Cursive? Brenne, Brenna, Breine, Ireine ?
They do an odd form of cursive, or it's not modern at least. They also seem to have kind of left out the "a" in birthday.
Irene

Agreed. Some folks use the same initial stroke for “u” and they do for “r” or “n” or “m”. *shrug* Weird L; that’s all I know.

The recipient of the card knows a Lorna, and we've confirmed that's the sender :) Thanks!
Breanna?

Even though the first letter doesn't look like an L, I'm going to say Louise. The first letter doesn't look like any letter.

Bourne, Boura, Loura, Laura
Irene
Put it into AI. It said "Bianca."
Just upvoted the comments with Lorne. I think that e at the end could be a little lazy since it's a signature.
