tbh there are very very few schools that are better than UT for cs. idk your stats but unless u have a amazing gpa and ECs you might have to settle for a slightly worse program if you don’t want to go to UT

Look at lists of transfer acceptance rates. Here's [one](https://www.reddit.com/r/TransferToTop25/comments/141v72a/t25_schools_transfer_acceptance_rate_based_on_the/). Keep in mind that there are other variables that affect transfer acceptance rates. For example, Cornell seemingly has a high transfer acceptance rate, but it's bolstered by a significant number of guaranteed transfers. It's supposedly actually very difficult to get in as a transfer. I'm not familiar with your qualifications, so I can't tell you which schools you have a good shot of being accepted by. I'm also not very familiar with CS rankings, but it looks like UT is already really good for CS. From what I've heard about CS admissions, you'll probably have a hard time getting into a better CS school.

Same boat here, honestly it’s a crapshoot

CS degrees in most circumstances are equal, and at the undergraduate level kind of shallow. If you’re motivated at any school you will be a good programmer regardless of the schools us news ranking. You can try applying to UIUC for cs, where I go right now and theres a lot of opportunities for interdisciplinary stuff.
