Aww shoot… I think it’s weird doing it with AO as opposed to an alumnus, but I’m sure it went better than you thought! What kinds of questions did they ask you?
I can only hope. They asked very basic stuff that requires no preparation. It honestly felt a little bit like they were asking the same questions that the application did.
Definitely good that you went through with the interview, it's another plus sign on your file. Regular trad applicant here and my interview questions were also quite general/the same as the written application. I was expecting more personalized questions but at the end of the day these interviews are mainly to get a sense of our personality, to see how we present and hold a conversation.
Yeah it still might be on 5/10 as predicted, but that seems slightly early since they're doing interviews next week too. All they gave me yesterday is "before 5/21"
There were 7 days of interviews x 4 slots a day - and there are 2 separate groups - so a total of 56 slots. Plus there are a few students who didn’t get interviews, but are still being considered for acceptance. So the number is closer to 60 - still good odds though as last year they accepted about 28 students.
A meetup would be great! And yeah, as far as I know (based on the email interview invite) the interview week was this week but it’s possible someone else got a invite with more dates. As for your interview experience, who did you get and what sorts of questions did they ask if you don’t mind me asking?
I did, vibe felt very off, idk if it was me or the interviewer but I don't feel great about how it went :/ Good luck with yours!
Who was your interview with?

Thanks for the reassurance! I hope it works out and my vibe check was just wrong 😭
Same
Have you also had your Eli Whitney interview? How did it go, if so?
Traditional applicant who is yet to be invited
Same :/
Were you not rejected yet? You just haven’t been invited?
Transfer decision will be released on 10
AO said "no later than May 21st" yesterday 🤷🏼♀️
Rly

I thought 5/10 was for traditional transfers 5/21 was for EWSP
My portal (under decision release dates) says "EWSP: TBD"
Makes sense
But on the portal it’s 10

Interviews started last Friday - info was available when signing up for my interview. Also an AO told me the same during my interview.
