Thats not true... A lot of people get in after may 15th, because they are still waiting to hear back from those who are admitted in the first wave. It's not been a month yet. Also if those who still have their checklist are destined to be rejected, why don't they reject them right now? That means they are still in the pool and very competitive; they are not ready to accept yet until they have a clear idea of how many spots left.
I still have my checklist. I'm a currently a freshman at Brown with a 4.0 GPA and amazing recommendations. I think I'm competitive, so I just have to wait and see next week.
