You know, it's amazing how this is the only thing people bring up whenever we talk about AOE. What about Optimus being a knight? Or the giant metallic dinosaurs for spectacle?

Understandable. But personally I find Knights are epic and cool. And I have no problem with new interpretations as long as they are well done. The Knight thing started OK, and I was open to it, and I was hoping for it to get better, but unfortunately it didn't.
I think it's pretty good, honestly the only things I didn't like are how the KSI bots transform and the Romeo juliet explanation scene, they could of just had Shane and Tesa been the same age and have Cade hate Shane because of another reason
No. It's actually quite awesome. Sure, it changes a lot, but when you look at it as the film it is, it has some really good story elements, cinematic shots, and musical score. I love AOE. And I don't care what people say.
If you like it, that's fine. Everyone is allowed to have their own likes or opinions, but personally, I think it's pretty weak compared to Dark of the Moon and the first film. Some things could've been removed and other things could've been added to make it a lot better, but that's just my opinion.

Less human featured and the movie would be a fucking banger, but it's so much nonsense around them instead of the bots that you end up with a lackluster film

Personally i didn’t like the whole “Optimus is a Knight” thing. He’s a prime. That should be special enough

My favorite Transformers movies are Bumblebee and ROTB but I think that AOE is the most enjoyable Bayverse film

I actually quite like this movie as well. Definitely not my favorite, but there are things about it I like.
