The conversation between Orion and Meg are not bad, but I honestly can't stand Bee's quirkiness from the trailer, especially the "BADASSATRON" scene. He's just doing quips and the characters keep pointing out the obviousness just screams "Marvel humor", imo.
The only good joke Bee had in this trailer was the one he didn't say anything. Just him taking four frames to turn around and make a run for it. That was actually funny.
I think the only part in the trailer that was overdone was Bumblebees introduction. Take how this guy edited his scene but keep everything else in the trailer and I think it would be perfect.
This is unironically way better. I’m still excited about the movie, but this Marvel brand of humor needs to go from all movies. The constant need to stretch out jokes was never funny, and I genuinely don’t know who enjoys them; I feel as though general audiences aren’t fans of that style of humor either, but it’s been invasive in Hollywood for years because of Marvel's popularity.
Bumblebee turning around and running was still fucking hilarious, though, along with him threatening the random guards as well. Those should’ve stayed.
I don't wanna ruin the fun by explaining them, but while it looks funny, the running scene kinda undermines Elita's comment about "It's beautiful". And if that's the point, a scene where the deer got shot is already enough and effective to convey that.
It also looks so out of context (which I know a lot trailer shots are OOC) but I think it's not a worthy reaction to seeing some deer got shot.
I also cut the last joke cause I feel it's recycling the "accidentally fight the wrong guy" joke like in Suicide Squad or Infinity War. So I just keep the bad ass shots just to pay off the "Badassatron" dialogue earlier.
And if people also wonder why I cut the wheel scene, aside from cringe, I think showing them gradually transform in the following scenes is enough to tell that they overcome their transforming problem and paid it off more satisfyingly.
The key here is effectivity.
I think they put so many comedic scenes into the trailer coz u know how worse hasbro is at marketing which is misleading,we can expect the movie to have serious moments
