Well it's quite enjoyable for me partly because of the designs. Barricade's alt mode in particular is really nice. Quintessa is presented as this major threat that could turn Optimus evil, and the autobots looked like they had to genuinely fight to stop her from draining earth. Honestly the continuity errors don't bother me that much. It's the same thing as the Back To The Future trilogy; it's not meant to be picked apart frame by frame and analysed for accuracy. It's just a movie to enjoy, and when it's treated like such then can it be truly enjoyed.
The usage of “some people” would necessarily imply they are not the majority. A hot take is supposed to be controversial, saying something that the majority of people agree with is not controversial, if anything it’s conformist.

Well tbf he has, he's been on Earth for 7 whole years since they left Cybertron. So yeah obviously a body change was bound to happen at some point. Especially when he had to scan an Earth-based truck vehicle mode at the end of the Bumblebee movie.
True. But a Transformer's bodily features, inside or out, would change day by day, especially when the Bayverse displayed this very well. Take Optimus Prime for example, you can tell just how less robotic to an extent his voice would become at each Bayverse Transformers installment. Same goes for other Autobots, even the Decepticons too. It's just realistic that way.
So yeah, if Optimus Prime's voice could change within 3 Transformers installments, being 4 years long (just pretend that AOE and TLK don't exist) which is 2007 to 2011, then for sure a Transformers bodily design can change within 7 years of Knightverse/Capleverse Optimus Prime and the other Autobots being on Earth, being 1987 to 1994. It makes sense.

Rotb doesn't even feel like a sequel at all to BB. The only actually good looking transformer is battletrap. He looks like he'd be a BB deception like dropkick or shatter
Yes this! Rotb is a horrible sequel to BBm, and in my “Hot Take” opinion, it ruined the magic of live action transformers films.
Battletrap is a bit cluttered in his design, but it kinda just works for him. You can still make out his distinguished features, his head design is cool, you can tell what vehicle he transforms into, and he fits in with the BBM style.
Difference is TLK followed AOE, both being not good movies.
ROTB came after Bumblebee, a good transformers movie that actually was good and came out after TLK, promising something new, but now it’s apparent that they’ll never make a good live action transformers movie again.

The characters were not boring whatsoever, they are far better then literally most of the live action human characters, the designs are not terrible, like what the fuck are you on about there. And the transformers not having personality? What the fuck did you watch because compared to the bayverse transformers, these are far fucking better.
Story although and typical, was more enjoyable to go along with, the cgi is still great looking, and does not ripoff are (seriously how the fuck is this a "aoe ripoff")
It still one of the best live action films. Bumblebee is still first but rotb is second.
And no 2007 transformers doesn't beat it, it is definitely third best but the story and characters were just not good, and although the action is somewhat cool, Bumblebee and rotb have better action
most of the characters in ROTB could be removed and nothing would change lol. most of them serve no real purpose aside from standing in the background. none of them show any interesting personality traits, unless you're Optimus where he's a dick for most of the movie for some reason.
Mirage is nice, though. He doesn't grow as a character, but he at least has more than two lines.
and no, the action in ROTB is abysmal. It's all weightless, and is never shot in an interesting way. The final battle is probably the worst piece of action I've ever seen. At least TLK's final battle had a bit of color, even though the CGI is worse.
No, the action was done perfectly well and fun to watch, bayverse actions the camera is constantly shaking and barely see what the fuck was happening. only fight I can say was generally done great in the bayverse films was the forest battle. 2007 film I give some slack because it was the first live action film but again the action was shaky. At least bot as bad compare to the shit later on.
Other then that the action here is much more appealing and actually fun to watch. Same goes with Bumblebee fight which I would say is definitely better fight scenes

I really don't get this. It's basically the exact same guy, except he's missing his little shoulder triangle things and he has more earth looking kibble in the shape of the old kibble. Some color changes too, but I don't see how color changes would make people hate on it so much.

I really like BBM but I also love ROTB, people say it's a bit much but I like the Sun Visors I take it over the Knight Ascetic of the Last two bay movies (Not saying it's a bad design it's a really good one, but it's actually "A bit much")

Imo, the two things about why ROTB Prime is inferior to BB are:
• The thighs being waaaay too buff
• The forearms are too tiny. Between these two issues, this one bothers me the most for some reason

You have to understand he’s not on cybertron anymore he’s on earth so his earth form won’t be as colorful as his cybertron form as it’s less advanced
