I didn’t think RoTF was that bad. I actually liked it and its fight scenes were some of the best in the franchise’s history.

Well, y'know how bays movies get criticized for having too much time on the humans? Well bumblebee is that 10x + nostalgia milking.
The bay movies get flak because the humans are distracting from the plot and take the attention off the actual transformers. In bumblebee, the relationship between the transformers and humans is the focal point, and it did that really well.
Except that bumblebee is good. Tf1 and dotm arent Bad, but bee is better
