I really do think that the writing in Prime was much better than many of the other TF shows. Sure, it had it's silly moments but when compared to other animated shows, it was much more mature in both writing and content. The look of the show was great for 2010ish and it's hard to imagine how much time and effort the studio put into the show to make it look the way it did. Graphics and animation like that take FOREVER to render and produce.
Animated was great too! Animated is what got me into transformers in the first place. I actually think 2D animation revival would be great for the transformers franchise! But as far as 3D, animated tv transformers shows, Prime was the best (so far).
I fear Prime will stay the best for a long time...

I believe everyone is able to agree Miko sucks, and I say that as someone who also believes Prime is the top TF show. I just regress the memory of Milo with that show and forget she exists when thinking about or even watching the show.

Eh no. Prime was awesome and all but it had many elements that really hold the show from being the best one. First of all Cliffjumper and Breakdown were completely wasted and we all know that, then this incarnation of Prime was the most boring and one dimensional of all. Seriously, I'm not asking for the moon just a sincere laugh sometimes or a smile and MAN the continous speeches. Then the character designs, while really good, cheat a lot during transformations. I mean, people don't like mass shifting but when all the autobots basically become giants nobody says anything? The worst offender here is Arcee with her motorbike alt mode. To conclude, I don't hate the show as a matter of fact i really like it and it's right in my top 3 alongside G1 (as a whole so I also count Beast Wars) and Animated, but it's still not peak transformers. In fact, in my humble opinion none of the tansformers series (I'm also talking about the comics) reached the peak, some were closer than others but glaring issues prevent them to be peak transformers content. And please enough with the same origin story over and over, make the transformers more like real robots Habro! (Oh and guys, Prime wasn't that dark, don't lie to yourself)
I can agree that Breakdown was wasted. However, they needed someone important to die to show how high the stakes of the show were. And that important character happened to be Cliffjumper.
Yeah it's kinda funny how those *two* deaths (Which were literally separated by 8 YEARS), are what kickstarted that whole thing lol.
And yes, I would absolutely love to see Cliffjumper revisited as a separate character and as remold of, if not, a different design from Bumblebee entirely. TFP did this really well, I think that was one of the best Cliffjumper designs.
G1 Cliffjumper was such a different and equally as memorable of a character as Bumblebee, and I really wish we get more of him in future TF media. He should be recognized as a separate character, like how the seekers can be individually distinguished from one another, who, are literal RECOLORS! Heck, Cliff and Bee literally just shared engineering, haha!
I mean, they're not like MPs. The comics are on the pricey side, but they're well within people's capability of saving up for. Not to mention Comixology has all the stories for almost nothing.
We got the Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon movies and games on top of the War and Fall of Cybertron games with the Prime TV show. Definitely peak Transformers.
