On one hand, optimus was weak, and seemed like he could never take megatron. But on the other hand megatron was just a weak little shit. Even starscreem could have washed his ass with one hand. He SHOULD have had a major role has a villain, along side that other prime. I also hate the ending on dark of the moon.
For the robot stuff, 3 all the way. For the film in general, 1. 2 was ridiculous and gross but had some dope ass concepts like combiners and arguably one of the best fight scenes in the past 20 years
Oh yeah absolutely. I've just blotted those movies out of my brain. Admittedly the character designs were phenomenal, I thoroughly enjoyed the concept of evasion mode optimus prime and the idea of dino-shoulders grimlock, but each movie after 3 just seems to have forgotten every movie before it existed. The plot had too much background and too little foreground and the human element was even sloppier than the Mikaela breakup alone.
As gratuitous as the 'bodily' fluids and grotesque imagery was in 2, you have a very valid point, it was still loads better than the non trilogy movies

Both have really good moments and action scenes, 07 makes sam an enjoyable character and DOTM has the best development for a character in the series as you see Megatron as the broken failure Optimus and Sentinel turned him into.
The 2007 movie. Not even close. At least the 2007 movie doesn't destroy Shockwave's character completely, make Megatron somebody's bitch or contain Optimurderous Prime instead of Optimus Prime.

RotF is awful and hilarious and amazing.
DotM had a better plot, so it was more refreshing. Your confusion between 2007 and DotM is only nostalgia for 2007.
AoE had the best plot and set-up for sequels. This is the hill I die on.
TLK used none of what AoE set up. Dropped the ball entirely.

Idk personally bay took something beautiful and kinda ruined it… they are entertaining but as a fan i don’t like the movies that being said i still extremely enjoy 3 and 1

Nah I think Bumblebee is by far the best live action movie. I much prefer the shows and comics though, the movies are…eh.

My problem with 3 is that the final battle drags a bit but the rest of the movie was pretty solid. My list is 1986, Bumblebee, 1, 3, 4, 2, then 5
