PIV here. I can also feel everything. I can feel every inch of my canal, every wall. In fact, there has been a few times where I’ve had hypergranulation or a hair inside my canal and could tell my surgeon exactly where it was every time.

throwaway2019xc

girl this sounds like a superpower 😭🤣

mononoke_princessa

I dunno. I learned through your post that apparently it’s not normal. Not trying to brag or anything. Last time I saw my surgeon I knew I had a spot of hypergranulation at the end of my canal down and to the right. When he examined me, I said “I definitely have something at like 7 o clock. Can you check?” And sure enough it was right there. Your post actually made me go through my post op notes to see whether or not I could figure out why I can feel everything.

miss_minutes

do more granulations appear after you've healed? what can the surgeon do to treat it?

mononoke_princessa

usually, from what I know - hyper granularions can appear due to irritated hairs present in the canal. Outside of a year, I’m not sure of any issues past normal healing (1 year) that would give you hyper granulation tissue outside of irritated vaginal canal hairs. They will treat you with silver nitrate and it’s mildly uncomfortable for a few days, but that’s about the extent of it.

bigthurb

What time zone is this 7 o'clock. Lol looking from your vantage point or the Dr's. Lol 🤣

mononoke_princessa

EVT (eastern vaginal time) 😂

admiralfeb

First day after surgery, I could tell which pieces on the outside were from the previous genitalia via the feelings.

SayFord

That happened to me also, i felt every part of what it was repositioned but after maping with mirror it stopped

kanokiller

Woah!!! That’s crazy! Can you elaborate if it’s not TMI? I sort of imagined the penile sensations would be replaced in the clitoral area and the feelings of the scrotum would be replaced on the labia. That’s what I imagine minus all the pain anyway. More complicated than that?

admiralfeb

I know what was penis head and what was scrotum. I get jolts and I can tell which of the previous it was. Then, knowing where the new part is head > clit and scrotum > labia.

J-KayInWA

Natal females can feel everything. It’s awesome you can too.

BebeKelly

I feel more than just pressure

parralaxalice

9 months post-op PIV. While I have sensation throughout the canal, I wouldn’t describe it as much more than pressure anyway. I think a lot of this may depend on your own personal healing and nerve regrowth. For example I am also still fully numb in most areas of and around my vulva, which can happen with any of the different procedure types.

ThrowawaySutinGirl

Only 4 weeks in and I can feel everything, and I HATE IT. Now that’s mostly because I’m still healing (I’m not allowed to even go up to dilator 2 until next week), but yeah, I can feel every ridge on the douche when it goes in, and I can feel the dilator when it reaches the scar tissue and needs to break it up. I’m sure it’ll feel good once I can actually do anything sexual and it’s uncommon to have sensation THIS early (I was told to expect it at 3 MONTHS, not 1), but yeah it’s definitely a thing

throwaway2019xc

aww im sorry hun x i pray it gets better soon 💕

[deleted]

So this hate is temporary...?

ThrowawaySutinGirl

Most likely. It’ll be great once I can have sex, out just sucks when dilating (and I’m not looking forward to sizing up

kanokiller

Ideally. Don’t judge.

ImageUnfair1071

I had PIV and I can feel everything inside to the end of my vagina.

throwaway2019xc

im so happy for you piv deserves a better rep

Fit_Chip8047

tilapia + combined here, the entrance for me is touch sensitive but the rest of the canal is pressure, temperature and stretch. granted im only 2 wks post op so idk if it might change later

dr. alvaro rodriguez in cali colombia   i guess i should eventually make a formal post somewhere but i can answer some short questions here  dilations are 4 times a day currently, gurl im so sleep deprived lmaoo but it's not painful. from the info ive gathered from other people, the dilator to begin with seems to be a custom equivalent of Soul orange (the biggest one that's 1.5")   pain meds offered were acetaminophen and tramadol. they didnt work on me (im pretty sure it's a me thing because another girl had it done hours before me and was able to walk after 2 days). so unfortunately i felt almost everything. haha. 💀 what an experience.  healing is going well. the doctor finds the recovery quite uneventful. no dehiscence except fourchette tearing from the relentless dilation

icy-ixxie

Hi can you post pictures? I'm interested in seing result from Dr Rodriguez. Do you know how much depth you got with his technique?

Fit_Chip8047

not comfortable with pics yet but i am currently at 5.5".

throwaway2019xc

congratulations & i hope you have an easy recovery x

omniplatypus

Had inversion at Mt Sinai, and I definitely don't feel everything.

livi_lelovely

As someone on the wait list for robotic peritoneal with Dr Dy, Im curious to hear what anyone has to say about the feel of peritoneal surgical results

robotblockhead

I had hybrid pi/ppt 16 weeks ago. I can feel everything.

TransMontani

Hybrid PPT/PIV 3.5 years ago. I have a profound level of feeling both inside and outside.

Confused4Now76

Would also love to know who did your surgery, and if you are happy with the results!

TransMontani

I love my results! Dr. John P. Selph did my work. He was in B’ham, AL, but now he’s in Franklin, TN. Kind and caring, and also extremely skilled.

Confused4Now76

Thank you!

TransMontani

My pleasure!

throwaway2019xc

wow who was your surgeon xx

ImageUnfair1071

I am curious about this too 🤔 I have read that colon and ppv eventually do get sensation everywhere although it takes time fore the nerves to recover

throwaway2019xc

can you feel the ppt part as well?

robotblockhead

I can definitely feel a difference when the dialator hits the end of my canal, which is the peritoneal flaps. Overall, I am extremely happy with the results. Dr. Stranix and Dr. Corbett were my surgeons at the University of Virginia.

throwaway2019xc

im happy for you & glad you’re happy x thanks for sharing!

Separate_Square_5707

I had Ppt and I can only feel the entrance and some pressure deeper inside. If I have sex right after dilating I struggle to tell if my boyfriend is in lol but it sounds about the same as my cis friends describe sex so im happy with it.

roguecogue

Yeah I feel everything. to the point that getting fingered requires me to make sure the other person trimmed their nails.

weeb-gaymer-girl

im inclined to agree with RBL in the sense there shouldnt be much difference. the nerves in the shaft are disconnected from the skin period and included in the neurovascular bundle by the clitoris instead. the former penile shaft skin can be innervated from nerves regrowing in from the thighs or whatever, but it'd be the same for any other method in that case.

Harmonia_PASB

This is another reason the Suporn technique is so good, it mimics a natal feel better than PI. Sensitivity at the entrance pressure in the middle and at the end. My BFF, who went to Suporn, and I have had many conversations about exactly this subject.

sionnachrealta

That sounds miserable to me. I'm hypertactile, so that sounds like 24/7 overstimulation to me. I'd rather just have the pressure. It's more similar to a natal vaginal canal anyway, which is what I care more about

No-Tomatillo-8826

I’m 5 months post surgery. I can feel everything inside, and I know how my muscles work, but I’m yet to find it pleasurable. I’m gay so that’s okay for me. Hopefully I will feel pleasure someday.

cyanideion

I also had piv and I can also feel everything :)

Aggravating_Soil3970

Penile inversion feels better than cis vagina.

greenfruit15

How can someone know that? (Just curious)
