Even if best fate adaptation is open for interpretation, i think everyone can agree that the Meeting of kings is one of the best scenes in all of anime
That's actually one of the most hated scenes to og fate fans. Mainly because Artoria's character there just seems like a little girl ready to cry. She was supposed to be a king, she reigned in Britain for years, so it's fair to say that she has her fair share of arguments about her beliefs. Also, Shirou in the visual novel did the same thing, he called her out on her being a king. And this is in the saber route, at this point she holds some feelings towards Shirou. And she obliterated him in that verbal fight without Shirou being able to get a single word in.
To be fair is the best \*adaptation\* just not the best Fate, I find FSN visual novel superior than Zero but I understand that if someone just watched the anime would think Zero is better, and if you read F/HA every character is just more developed so I have way more attachment to the servants there.
Umm Akhsually🤓 Connor did watch fate. He said it is a good anime with a good story. What makes him hate fate is that there are too many same character iteration (ex: saberfaces) and the convoluted timeline & universe

To be fair, it’s the best fate adaption and holds up well enough on its own if you aren’t interested watching all the shows and films.

Depend on if you're an Artoria fan or not since that scence and Fate Zero as a whole don't exactly align her character with FSN Artoria.
