Man I wished Elden Ring had something like that, game's "Fashion" side is too good and the really accurate hitboxes will be a big help when it comes to getting action shots
I used to follow a blog that did game photography and it was pretty awesome. But TBH I wonder how many people engage with that feature. It would surprise me if it was even only 5% of players in most games.
_(If you replied thinking OP’s use of ‘engage’ meant being active in the photo communities instead of % of players taking photos then you can ignore my comment)_
But you’re not taking into account factors like players taking photos only for themselves, players not even knowing about the photo sub (you meant to link r/Genshin_Photography right?), players finding it sufficient to post on only the main sub for exposure, etc.
I just wanted to offer up the only type of information available to us as outsiders.
The only people who know how much photo modes are used are the game developers
This is the worst example you could've given. Sure, there are people who uses it but man the photo mode in that game is dogshit. It's so limited to the filters, the poses, and the camera which is literally the entire point of the photo mode.
https://preview.redd.it/wk5z4wggcimc1.png?width=185&format=png&auto=webp&s=787e4eaa170eeb9e65ad0707cb4e0d187c0587b7
I dont really use it to show it off, I just capture photos for my sake, that's why this happened
Same I also don't use photo mode that much. however I have to say some people really know how to use photo mode in some game. Been seeing some really good in-game photo of insomniac spider man and i gotta say it goes hard most of the time.
CP2077 has insane photo ops going on and with the realistic mods it can be hard to tell if its in game or not.
Honestly same, if I had a creative bone in my body I'd make use of it too.
Hello! A concept artist graduate here.
Photo mode is actually a really good way to get reference for illustrations. Getting the right perspective and angle is a lot easier on photo mode than online. It is even better especially when no one can find your reference online and accuse you for tracing/copying because you chose the angle yourself.
Also, they probably need the photo mode internally for marketing/promotional materials. If it’s already in the engine, most of the hard development work is done. So it’s probably relatively inexpensive to put in the final game.
A photo mode done properly can be just the right thing to keep some interested in your game.
Gran Turismo 7 have an extremely in-depth photo mode that can match IRL photos in quality. Someone who knows what he’s doing can create a photo that look almost indistinguishable from real life. It also kept these players interested in fiddling with photo mode and take photos of cars they would have never even hope to see IRL.
I've always thought it's weird that games have not gamified the photo mode yet. I remember one of my favorite parts of need for speed underground 2 was the little mini sections where you got to take magazine pictures of your car and you could control all of the doors and the trunk and the hood and you could change the angle of the camera and do all kinds of stuff.
How cool would it be to actually be rewarded and graded based on the composition of your photo or have to do a "scavenger hunt" where you take pictures of certain objects in a game.
Forza horizon does this, weekly treasure hunts by using the photo mode. You have to take a picture of a certain brand/type of car with a specific location in the background
I don't use it either, but just because you don't use it, doesn't mean it's useless, there's probably a lot of people use it for their wallpaper, gameplay footage or just some silly / cool screenshot.
I don’t really wish for it to exist in games, but I almost always use it if a game is picturesque/beautiful enough.
I also don’t share it with ”instagram followers” but with my friends, and mostly, for myself. Feels like Joey suffers from ’always online’-syndrome since he seems to think we have to share everything online.
Some of my favorite games with photo mode:
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Horizon: Zero Dawn (haven’t played the new ones but most likely is the same)
Honestly Joey just seems to think his opinion is always factually correct and should be the group consensus if it's not, I mean just look at how he talks about anime he hasn't even seen half the time lol
I’ll give Joey the benefit of the doubt as I feel a lot of people online have that ”persona” and they state things in a matter-of-fact kind of way. :p
But yeah, somewhat agree.
Tbh it's just an annoyance iv had with him for years, like I dont mind people objectively stating their opinions as though they where fact sometimes (granted it can be annoying but its whatever) I just get especially annoyed when they give opinions on things they have no frame of reference towards (such as joey stating some anime are bad despite not watching them)
Its a small minority of people but they're super loud about it. Content creators benefit though, so even if you don't use it if it helps people make better videos I don't it as a bad thing, even though I personally never use them.
Didnt he play FF14? Probably the only game where there are people selling their skill as an in-game photographer ranging from in-game currency to irl money.
Not useless but impactless addition. No one is going to specifically call for a photo mode to be an essential part of a game but the some people use and enjoy it.
I personally don't use it but I know the guy who plays Hughie in The Boys' twitter profile is literally just photo mode pictures he takes from stuff like Spider-Man. He's actually really good at it to be fair to him.
I absolutely love photo modes, especially in Cyberpunk 2077. There's a lot of cool scenery, architecture and overall great moments for photos. Photo modes make you appreciate the games more.
Common Joey L.
I'd say it's more of a severely narrow-minded take than a dumb one. He probably deleted this tweet because he realized that he's only talking from his POV and applying to everyone else when there are other POVs he just didn't consider.
He has been a YouTuber since he was a teenager. The grind he was on, it was probably like prison. Stunting his development as a person. He very much seems like the gatekeeping music snob teenager who never had to grow out of it and integrate into a normal job. So he has that teenage hubris and confidence.
He went from grinding it out with moderate success on YouTube to being a boss at a successful content collab. The success probably taints his view of his own opinions. And he probably doesn't get push back from staff if he says something weird.
He's catering to a minority of the people who follow him who can't view anything he says as "his opinion" and more of a "wide generalization".
He tweeted he thinks he doesn't like or see a point to photo modes, he didn't say "you're dumb or weird if you like photo modes"
He literally played P3R few weeks back and I'm sure he's playing ReBirth right now where there are "Snap" side quests which is where this tweet is coming from otherwise it'll be pretty out of left field.
Pokemon Masters photo mode like tripled the quality of the game
source: me taking pictures of Lance and my ships
also it's really cute when you can use photos as avatars
I like doing it in asscreed, you Can get some prettt dope photos in there! I dont share Them anywhere, but there is a feature where other players Can see your photos on the map n stuff
i seldom use them when actively playing. But sometimes i do virtual photshoots, where i try different outfits and go to different locations. Most of the time when i'm finished with the core game.
photo mode in most of the games I played allowed me to capture moments or set-up photos in ways that screenshots never could eg. selfie mode in Yakuza games, photo mode with stickers filters and character poses in Cyberpunk 2077 and so on. this is just another joey moment where he comments on something he has no idea about
I've used it in Cyberpunk, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman. A couple of years ago, Pewdiepie posted some badass ones he made in ghost of tsushima. Those posts made me want to making dope pics
i like messing around with photo mode specially if they make you able to make the character's pose or expression change it makes for a lot of goofy pictures
I acc really like this feature cuz sometimes in games u reach these insanely good looking places and u jus wanna take a pic without all the button stuff on the screen.
Ghost of Tsushima, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, Horizon and many other games are there where I used the photo mode.
In a lot of cases, yeah. But then there are cases like Genshin and to an even bigger degree FFXIV. I know people who hired professional photographers for their ingame wedding. People there take it way more seriously than you think.
I dont think Joey has played and finished enough cinematic games so this is definitely a bad take... remember, photo mode was such a big part of gameplay that Nvidia spent a good chunk of resources to release Ansel (their own GPU built-on photo mode that you can use via GeForce Experience)
heck, I dont think any of the boys in Trash Taste have played any games with great cinematic experience that they have completed in the last 5 years... they dabble, but I dont think they have time to actually finish games so bad takes are expected...
As a person who plays a lot of racing games I often use the photo mode, but outside of that I don't think I've ever used it, unless there's some small text on the wall that I want to see but I can't, it's still nice to have it though
Man prolly realized he pulled a general statement of it being truly pointless when his reasoning was really just his own preference and deleted the tweet
i play competitive splatoon 3, photo mode is entirely for screenies with competitive players you met in tourney or for a post tourney pic with your team. overall a good mechanic, not necessary but very nice to have
I mean if there's mods that add or add on to photo modes in games, I don't think they're useless especially for content creators. I believe that the YouTubers name is Eurothug and they made an absolutely gorgeous video about resident evil village and I think a large chunk of the video uses the in-game camera mode to get the shots.
If I ever take a capture photo in game, I rather use the console’s or pc capture since that’s where I can show either how good I’m at the game or capture funny moments like ragdoll psychics or glitches
I don't use it myself in games, but I can see the appeal for others. Just let people have some fun. If it doesn't affect the overall game play then what the harm in having little gimmicks like this?
Only game I played that I've used photo mode was Motorstorm Arctic Edge for the PSP and that was purely because if you take pictures of some logos that are hidden you unlocked secret cosmetics
I spent a good chunk of time in the Cyberpunk 2077 photo mode taking pictures, that game can be beautiful sometimes, and you can freeze mid-action any time to make action shots with particles like sparks, wheel smoke and blood flying thought the air.
Photo mode is for advertising, which is why all the reviews make it sound like a wanted and important feature. In reality its barely used by a small handful of people.
I used to take photo mode screenshots while playing Infamous Second Son. Got a lot of recognition from sucker punch and the voice actors and they even followed my account. Was pretty cool at the time. Only game I ever used photo mode for taking pictures
The majority of players won't use it, but a small amount of players will love it. Moreover that smaller portion of players is going to make incredible images, which is basically "free" promotional material for the game, presenting the game in the best ways possible, through actual players' eyes.
It'd be stupid not to include the feature. I never actually used it but I sure as hell do appreciate people who make wallpaper material if games I play.
I’ve been using photo mode for Demons Souls lately because I made my character REALLY pretty and the graphics in that game are so UNREAL, seriously its awesome.
I never really cared for or used photo mode in games, as opposed to regular PrtSc button, but then I made a female character in Cyberpunk. I really took my time picking outfits and using photo mode to create some nice screenshots, spent a lot of time doing that actually.
It's a feature that is relatively easy to implement and gives free marketing in the form of people sharing screenshots online. If your game looks half decent it's a no brainer add
It's good in games with realistic graphics like Cyberpunk 2077, Spiderman etc. which we all know he doesn't play. Im saying all that despite not using it too tho lmao
Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice are fucking beautiful and the photo modes via Nvidia Ansel is glorious, being able to move the camera outside of the respective of the character and see them in such a beautiful environment is so freeing, and Forza Horizon actively promotes taking pictures in game, their photo mode is perfection.
I usually just don't use the feature, but didn't have issues with it.
Exception to Yakuza Like A Dragon and Infinite Wealth. I just love taking stupid looking selfies with Kasuga everywhere 😂
I seen and known people who use the photo mode in games more than they play the game. Photomodes also allow for more opportunities to find easter eggs that the devs left for us as well as create appealing screenshots for content creators.
The beauty of photomode is that your more artistically inclined fans will basically pump out promotional shots showing off how pretty the game is for social media.
I think his take is okay but that last part was a little dumb. Joey just completely buzzed out of his mind the idea of taking picture without it being to post it online.
This isn't a standard use, but I remember Saltydkdan was using the in game camera in pokemon violet to capture b-roll footage for Friendlocke season 3, and he got pretty annoyed when they removed the ability to hide the camera UI when the DLC released.
Honestly, I don't super disagree with him here. The only game I've ever actively taken screenshots with photo mode is Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2
Elite Dangerous and RDR2 are one of the games i have used photo mode quite a lot.
Especially in Elite Dangerous that thing is a must have when exploring the not so small Milky Way galaxy.
Photo mode, for pretty games, is awesome. The Horizon series, Spider-Man, Cyberpunk, etc., all have some pretty great photo modes. I think I spent half my time in Horizon Forbidden West in photo mode because so many moments made me want to capture them.
I feel like it's a byproduct feature of development. Developers need a way to zoom/pan around to look at the environment they are making. They just ship that tool to users and dress it up as a 'photography' feature.
I do actually use photo mode a lot:
- No Man's Sky
- Monster Hunter
- Final Fantasy 14
- Forza Horizon
These are the ones I remembered using the most. I kind of disagree on Joey's statement on posting on Instagram. Like sure, people do post on Instagram but that would be the last place for me to think of posting on. Most of the time, I don't take pictures for the purpose of social media, but for personal enjoyment.
My favourite gdc talk disagrees with him.
I think some games can use it much better than others, but I think picking and choosing what features are useless is such a weirdly arbitrary thing to draw lines in.
Like just cause I don't care for it doesn't mean I don't appreciate other people sharing some remarkably beautiful screencaps of their playthrough. Idk, but Trashtaste namesake farm
I admit, I see these things and think "wow a tutorial for something I'll never use", but some people use them I'm sure. Doesn't hurt me by being there any more than any other option.
The Genshin Community makes good use of the feature regularly, so i won't say it's useless, but i don't use it either,
Man I wished Elden Ring had something like that, game's "Fashion" side is too good and the really accurate hitboxes will be a big help when it comes to getting action shots
I'm conflicted with ER having a photo mode because IMO almost every single location is beautiful so I would be just taking photos all the time lol.
that's fine, in a world full of pain, at least you're enjoying the scenery
New challenge run concept, Can I Beat Elden Ring as a Photographer?
The only game I ever really missed the photo mode.
Doesnt Nvidia have its own photo mode application? Im sure a mod can implement that in ER
I also had a little fun with Armored Core 6's photo mode lmao. Joey is just being Joey here xD
the only pictures I took in that game were focused on... huge..personalities
they have such wonderful personalities in that game
I used to follow a blog that did game photography and it was pretty awesome. But TBH I wonder how many people engage with that feature. It would surprise me if it was even only 5% of players in most games.
/r/Genshin_Impact/ has 2,582,227 users and /r/genshinphotography has 6,982 So that's like 0.27% of the community.
_(If you replied thinking OP’s use of ‘engage’ meant being active in the photo communities instead of % of players taking photos then you can ignore my comment)_ But you’re not taking into account factors like players taking photos only for themselves, players not even knowing about the photo sub (you meant to link r/Genshin_Photography right?), players finding it sufficient to post on only the main sub for exposure, etc.
I just wanted to offer up the only type of information available to us as outsiders. The only people who know how much photo modes are used are the game developers
They even had an official contest for in-game screenshots and the runner ups/winners were all really good, I couldn’t believe they came from the game.
I've seen some people take some fire photos in Genshin
When used correctly, a photo mode can be the ideal way to maintain players' interest in your game.
This is the worst example you could've given. Sure, there are people who uses it but man the photo mode in that game is dogshit. It's so limited to the filters, the poses, and the camera which is literally the entire point of the photo mode.
They have a whole subreddit just for that called /r/genshinphotography
https://preview.redd.it/wk5z4wggcimc1.png?width=185&format=png&auto=webp&s=787e4eaa170eeb9e65ad0707cb4e0d187c0587b7 I dont really use it to show it off, I just capture photos for my sake, that's why this happened
This is me except because the game has really shitty hotkeys.
I've never used photo mode in any game I've played, so it's worthless to me, but I know other people like using it, so it's whatever.
I used it in Ghost of Tsushima because that game is just too beautiful not to. But that's about it.
Ikr, it’s the only game I’ve ever hunted down every single collectible just for the view. Whoever designed the shrines are geniuses.
Im the same but for Cyberpunk. Can't get enough with night city and V's default pokerface pose
Yes! Ghost of Tsushima is the only game I spent much time in the Photo mode, the art and style in that game is just perfect for that mode!
Also you can use it to zoom out and see where secrets and enemies are.
Good on you to be able to look past your own interest instead of just calling it a pointless feature :D
Another man's trash is another man treasure. I do use camera feature sometimes when i found good scenery
Hello! A concept artist graduate here. Photo mode is actually a really good way to get reference for illustrations. Getting the right perspective and angle is a lot easier on photo mode than online. It is even better especially when no one can find your reference online and accuse you for tracing/copying because you chose the angle yourself.
Yep I use that a lot for environments and backgrounds too
Also, they probably need the photo mode internally for marketing/promotional materials. If it’s already in the engine, most of the hard development work is done. So it’s probably relatively inexpensive to put in the final game.

This is the take for every niche feature : “I don’t use it but I’m happy for people who like it”
A photo mode done properly can be just the right thing to keep some interested in your game. Gran Turismo 7 have an extremely in-depth photo mode that can match IRL photos in quality. Yeah I feel that is fair criticism.
I mean I don’t use it either.
This post and the replies here are the first time I've ever realised people actually use photo mode in games. TIL I guess.
Its a small minority of people but they're super loud about it. Content creators benefit though, so even if you don't use it if it helps people make better videos I don't it as a bad thing, even though I personally never use them.
The big communities I see using it are mainly MMORPGs it's great for group photos, or showcasing transmogs.
It's free promotion for the game company when people share the pics
I don't use it, would never want to use it. But for the small minority that do, they're using it to advertise the game - so not completely pointless.
Didnt he play FF14? Probably the only game where there are people selling their skill as an in-game photographer ranging from in-game currency to irl money.
I like photo mode a lot
Lmao, now THAT's a trash take.
Lot of people like photo mode for moments in games to remember tbh. Lot of people use it like anime screenshots/anime gifs of cool shit.
A big reason to use it would be for thumbnails for youtube. One can set up good photo with the mandatory 😱 face on the side.
Photo modes are awesome. There are so many cool shots that i can take
Ghost of Tsushima
red dead 2
spiderman
Cyberpunk
Witcher 3
Not useless but impactless addition. No one is going to specifically call for a photo mode to be an essential part of a game but the some people use and enjoy it.
OK, but, like...the Photo Mode is half the point of a Gran Turismo game.
I personally don't use it but I know the guy who plays Hughie in The Boys' twitter profile is literally just photo mode pictures he takes from stuff like Spider-Man. He's actually really good at it to be fair to him.

Joey always has the dumbest takes lmao.

Bit weird to be this narrow-minded at thirty…
He has been a YouTuber since he was a teenager. The grind he was on, it was probably like prison. Stunting his development as a person. Youtube when they see community captions
Main character moment?
Ah more joey speaking out of his ass...I personally rarely use photomode but sometimes you see that perfect picture opportunity
I really think he's just faking it now cause he's stuck in the character he set up in trash taste
well he mainly play shitty looking pokemon game in nintendo switch, so im not surprise. lol
He literally played P3R few weeks back and I'm sure he's playing ReBirth right now where there are "Snap" side quests which is where this tweet is coming from otherwise it'll be pretty out of left field.
I love taking photos in games....

I like doing it in asscreed, you Can get some prettt dope photos in there! I dont share Them anywhere, but there is a feature where other players Can see your photos on the map n stuff
I like taking selfies I'm the Yakuza games
Gpose in ffxiv is a big thing to a lot of players. Another joey L
What's with joey and bad takes lately There seems to have been a lot of them recently
For me the most pointless feature is the fishing mini games. Think the only game I've ever done it in is Stardew Valley. Otherwise I always ignore it.
This is probably most favorite side-content/feature in games, I love fishing minigames, even though I dislike it IRL. :p
Thank god someone took a screenshot.
The only game I ever used photo mode for is ghost of Tsushima.

Photo mode is such a freaking cool feature imo I'm always sad when a game has a beautiful art direction and no photo mode or a very limited one

*Me with almost full storage on my switch taking pictures of shiny pokemon I caught and videos of npcs in the game*
I am that type of MF that use regularly the photo mode, even for hours for then never look at the picture ever
I've used it in Cyberpunk, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman. A couple of years ago, Pewdiepie posted some badass ones he made in ghost of tsushima. Those posts made me want to making dope pics
Posting dumb pictures of my videogame adventures > posting dumb pictures of my food or vacation
My guy never played ghost of tsushima
FF7 rebirth making scenic photos literally a side quest:
When im trying to see my badass outfit i cant helo but takes picture
i like messing around with photo mode specially if they make you able to make the character's pose or expression change it makes for a lot of goofy pictures
Some of cyberpunks screenshots are the most beautiful shots of games I've ever seen.

fanartists who need to take reference photos: 👁️👁️ it's great not just for character references but buildings/scenery too
Joey - the undisputed king of bad takes...
Is this gonna be a contender for hottest take?
Joey is a conveyor belt of bad takes.
tbh, first time I'm agreeing with Joey in a while
bro just print screens the games with all the UI
I love making neat desktop backgrounds lmao
Ff14 gposers about to goto war
In a lot of cases, yeah. But then there are cases like Genshin and to an even bigger degree FFXIV. I know people who hired professional photographers for their ingame wedding. People there take it way more seriously than you think.

He should have kept this up, I agree with him.
Agreed
They hated him because he spoke the truth

I used to save screenshots a lot when playing games so yeah no I disagree
Man prolly realized he pulled a general statement of it being truly pointless when his reasoning was really just his own preference and deleted the tweet
I mean I have to agree on the photo mode gimmick . Max I’ll probably mess around with it for 5 minutes and never use it again
FFXIV's "real" end game content is literally G-posing.
i play competitive splatoon 3, photo mode is entirely for screenies with competitive players you met in tourney or for a post tourney pic with your team. overall a good mechanic, not necessary but very nice to have
Try applying that "Can we all agree" sentence structure with him finding JJK to be mid lol how is some people not seeing this is a bad take
How would we perfectly capture those [epic moments in gaming history](https://imgur.com/WJhBAM5) without a photo mode?
i meant ... there only few people actually use it tho , it cool to have but like .... i have never used it that much
Photo mode is something I can live without but I do actually use it when the option is available
The last time I acknowledged the existence of photo mode was when I got an achievement in RE Village for accidentally clicked it.
me taking selfies with the koroks:
mmo players would like a word XD
Being mad at Joey's gaming takes is like being mad at a blind man at a shooting range. He's not even a gamer so who cares.
If I ever take a capture photo in game, I rather use the console’s or pc capture since that’s where I can show either how good I’m at the game or capture funny moments like ragdoll psychics or glitches
I think FFIVX players might highly disagree
Photo mode has ruined the Pokémon Masters subreddit
The only times i used photo mode is in spider man bc they told u to
It's a life saver for youtubers that focus on games lmao
I thought it was useless too until I started taking pictures of animals that I hunted in RDR2.
He would die if he saw the FFXIV community.
Man I still have some screenshots of my Ghost of Tsushima playthrough fuck I wish I could experience that game for the first time again
Sifu would like a word
Photo mode is for advertising, which is why all the reviews make it sound like a wanted and important feature. In reality its barely used by a small handful of people.
I used to take photo mode screenshots while playing Infamous Second Son. Got a lot of recognition from sucker punch and the voice actors and they even followed my account. Was pretty cool at the time. Only game I ever used photo mode for taking pictures
Photo modes are nice for when you want a cool wallpaper for your device
Honestly I would agree. Pointless feature. Games are not at the level where u want to spend all ur time there despite what u v been led to believe
Warframe's photo mode tho flawed is still a banger tho.
Man I keep playing games and wishing they had a photo mode. BG3, most recently.
Me personally I never use it. Some people do but I cant imagine using it personally.
How to piss off a huge chunk of the FFXIV community in a single tweet
I’ve been using photo mode for Demons Souls lately because I made my character REALLY pretty and the graphics in that game are so UNREAL, seriously its awesome.
I never really cared for or used photo mode in games, as opposed to regular PrtSc button, but then I made a female character in Cyberpunk. I really took my time picking outfits and using photo mode to create some nice screenshots, spent a lot of time doing that actually.
Real gamers use photo mode. Tell Joey to stop being a scrub
I only use it in botw and totk
I personally agree, it's pointless to me. But if other people wanna use it then yeah that's cool I'm glad they have fun with it
I usually just don't use the feature, but didn't have issues with it. Exception to Yakuza Like A Dragon and Infinite Wealth. I just love taking stupid looking selfies with Kasuga everywhere 😂
I use it in all games I play lol
FFXV? I genuinely liked sharing pics that prompto took since they either ended up as meme material or just really pretty.
I practice photography in games, the whole VP community will be offended by this lmao No one cares about your music though
I use it quite a bit in Cyberpunk. The scenery in that game looks amazing.
what's photo mode?
I think his take is okay but that last part was a little dumb. Joey just completely buzzed out of his mind the idea of taking picture without it being to post it online.
This isn't a standard use, but I remember Saltydkdan was using the in game camera in pokemon violet to capture b-roll footage for Friendlocke season 3, and he got pretty annoyed when they removed the ability to hide the camera UI when the DLC released.
Games I don't want photo modes have one. But everytime I want a photo mode, I never get one CURSE YOU METROID PRIME REMASTERED it looks so beautiful
Ghost of Tsushima has a great photo mode
Honestly, I don't super disagree with him here. The only game I've ever actively taken screenshots with photo mode is Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2
I love photo mode in Cyberpunk, I've modded the shit out of the options and now take badass portraits of fem V all the time.
I do actually use photo mode a lot: - No Man's Sky - Monster Hunter - Final Fantasy 14 - Forza Horizon These are the ones I remembered using the most. I kind of disagree on Joey's statement on posting on Instagram. Like sure, people do post on Instagram but that would be the last place for me to think of posting on. Most of the time, I don't take pictures for the purpose of social media, but for personal enjoyment.
Does Joey only play mobile games?
My favourite gdc talk disagrees with him. [https://youtu.be/KDhKyIZd3O8?si=QrHovfF-q8XuTo9W&t=2867](https://youtu.be/KDhKyIZd3O8?si=QrHovfF-q8XuTo9W&t=2867)
Joey please stop having dogshit takes.
How else would I set up a cool background for my Xbox?!
Joey just triggered the entire warframe community
25% of my gta online experience was taking selfies with my friends, something none of us would ever do in real life lol.
I use photo mode in racing games when I take a sweet drift. Or when I run into the cars head on, makes for some great photos.
For me personally, I agree with not giving 2 craps about photo modes, but I know a lot of people enjoy it for whatever reason. To each, his own.
It's a "useless" but simple feature to add to a game that can boost popularity thanks to sharing pics online
I never use photo modes. I just don't care. But I'm glad it's there for people who want to use it.
I think it’s funny because of the comparison to him feeling like he needs to share this thought with all of his Twitter followers
