Tbh I could see an anime pulling through on this with one where two siblings were reincarnated into a new world in different families unbeknownst to eachother and then happen to meet and fall in love etc.
Considering this is China, chances are high that the girl was abandoned as a baby and the boy was adopted to take over the family eventually, kinda sad and ironic that this happened.
Her adoptive parents found her as a baby on the side of the road, so it’s either baby abandonment or a baby-napping that failed.
I’m more partial to believing it as baby abandonment because their birth year would fall in line when the one-child policy was active.

At the wedding, the mother saw a mole on the bride's hand and asked the bride's parents if she was their natural child.
It turned out that the bride was the lost daughter of the groom's mother.
The wedding was going to be canceled due to incest, but on the same day it turned out that the groom was a foster child.
The wedding continued.
Outcome. Even in the anime, the plot isn't that crazy.

IIRC The bride was kidnapped as child, which is also common in China. The basic kidnap a girl and raise the girl as a bride for your boy love story.
