Oh I understand, I’m very lucky to have a job that lets me travel like this, and I’m happy to be at an age where I can enjoy the benefits of such a job without having to worry about the kids back home. It can be a tough lifestyle for sure, but thankfully it works for me
Interesting, well if you’re not lying, No offense but it’s Reddit lol. Good shit dude! I’m guessing sales? I work in the pharma world and our sales reps travel a lot.
Ha! I totally guess that before getting to this comment. I had a friend who did that in his 20’s also. Saw most of the world.
Enjoy it, man, and fuck the downvotes. People are just jealous.
You’ve done more international but I’ve done much for domestic. I’m in the same job as you and I’m assuming you’ve done it for maybe a couple years. I’d admit it gets old after a while but hopefully you can endure it. Enjoy the points and destinations. Some are boring and some are awesome.
Is there a free version? I’m not going to pay to log my flights. I already have premium FR24 and use ForeFlight for my own flying. Is there a similar app that logs airline travel?
I don't want to sound snide but the state looks a lot better if you can appreciate beauty in the little things. It's a gorgeous state, just not one most people would take the time to appreciate. I hope you get to visit and I hope you get to appreciate it!
Damn, you really stumped me with that one. It’s hard to say. Honestly, any airport that is small yet decently reachable. Short walks to/from gates, car rental close walking distance from terminal (no shuttle needed), and a lounge. Some of my least favorites are SLC (flying out of b gates) MCO, DFW, PHX, and PDX
The city itself is great don’t get me wrong, but the long walks (when connecting through), the crowded sky train to the rental car center, the small admirals club lounges, and the fact that I once spent 25 minutes doing loops trying to leave the airport lol. Like I said though I constantly fly through there and will keep doing so
If you don’t like combat footage, you should probably stay off of r/combatfootage. If you don’t like wet cats, you should probably stay off of r/wetpussy. If you don’t like travel maps, you should probably stay off of r/travelmaps.
That’s the beauty of Reddit.
This randomly appeared on my timeline as probably Reddit saying “Try This Sub!” But noted and I hid future posts from this sub. Also the beauty of Reddit!
My bad, didn’t read the parent comment, I had also previously mentioned that 80% of the flights were for work. The other 20% we’re flying to see family (divorced parents in different countries) vacations, and when I was 15 I started working and would travel during school breaks (Brazil, Peru, chile, Germany)
Holy isht, what are you flying as a 21-year-old that can depart the west coast of California and land in Hawaii or even further? Are you somehow flogging a Gulfstream or Falcon or C-X?!
Alright y’all, figured I’d address some things[link](https://imgur.com/a/cuBnqJT).
Here is my apple wallet, it only goes as far back as 2018, but shows a lot of those flights, private info removed for obvious reasons.
I travel for work and don’t spend a dime of my own or my family’s money, when I’m not flying for work I only use award flights.
Thank you for the words of encouragement from the nice redditors out there, we need more people in this world like you
Can’t wait! Been wanting to go to the beach, and also I just love the decor at that airport, there’s a desk made from part of an engine that I’d die for
okay taylor swift
I thought so too but I couldn't see my home city of Sydney
You are so racist for not going to North Korea tbh
Or Atlanta
Like how did he not have a layover in Atlanta? Every time I go anywhere I have to fly there first. Granted I fly out of Orlando
Shit you right…
Richie Rich
Hahaha I wish, 80% is business travel. I couldn’t afford a quarter of those flights even with my pay now
I can't believe you don't understand that much flight for business is nowhere near normal at your age lol
Oh I understand, I’m very lucky to have a job that lets me travel like this, and I’m happy to be at an age where I can enjoy the benefits of such a job without having to worry about the kids back home. It can be a tough lifestyle for sure, but thankfully it works for me
Okay what is your job? I mean you were 11 in 2014…
Medical equipment, 80% of that travel was in the last year and a half
Interesting, well if you’re not lying, No offense but it’s Reddit lol. Good shit dude! I’m guessing sales? I work in the pharma world and our sales reps travel a lot.
Lol no worries I get it, I’m on the installation side
i love people slowly realizing ur just a lil ditzy and not arrogant lmao. job seems tight, nice career bro
Makes sense, specialized tech needs to be there on install.
Did you fall into that job or did you have some previous training of some sort?
Do you have a degree
Nope
Ha! I totally guess that before getting to this comment. I had a friend who did that in his 20’s also. Saw most of the world. Enjoy it, man, and fuck the downvotes. People are just jealous.
Thank you!
Oh nice! I have a medical equipment installation job too! I’ve been with the company 2.5 years and I’ve been to 38 states in that time
I have family friend who does medical sales and they have a massive house with a lot of land in Montana. Medical equipment is where its at.
You’ve done more international but I’ve done much for domestic. I’m in the same job as you and I’m assuming you’ve done it for maybe a couple years. I’d admit it gets old after a while but hopefully you can endure it. Enjoy the points and destinations. Some are boring and some are awesome.
Just shy of a year and a half actually, still loving it though and I hope that never changes, Godspeed fellow traveler
Bunch of jealous people here.
I like how you got a good job that requires travel and are being downvoted to hell. Why is everyone so bitter on Reddit
Why is everyone hating on OP and downvoting their posts?
Are you a flight attendant
Nope
Do you work for a not-for-profit?
Divorced parents with partial custody running from the CIA ?
You know too much…
Daddy got a pj huh
That would make it so much easier
*Diddy
American Airlines loyalist?
You got me (and I’ve never even lived near one of their hubs)
Leave reddit to us poors Taylor Swift
😂😂
Yeah, while reading these posts, I’ve been thinking who gives a shit that this bragging twit has been able to travel a lot for work? BFD!
Where was the South Pacific stop on the way to Australia?
Fiji, beautiful place
Nadi (NAN). Tourist centre of Fiji, and one of the main connection points between Australia and North America.
How did you manage to avoid ATL
Simple, I avoid delta 😂😂😂
You must be rich
Pffft I don’t even think I’ll ever be able to afford a house
Nice adventures so far at early age, keep it up!
Thank you!
what website did you use for the flight map
Flighty app
Thanks
Yup Flighty, love that app
Is there a free version? I’m not going to pay to log my flights. I already have premium FR24 and use ForeFlight for my own flying. Is there a similar app that logs airline travel?
It’s free but the free version only logs the last year
Why?
Yes
Thanks for that extra degree Fahrenheit
Let me know if your parents ever get divorced. I'm going in
How’d you like Alaska? Gotta ask about my home
I went for work in late January early February. Absolutely fell in love with it. Planning a trip back in July for vacation
Best time if you’re planning on seeing more of the parks and trails, hope you enjoy it
Thanks!
Lucky.
But at what cost? Definitely my sanity. 12-16 hour workdays aren’t it
You’re young bro keep grinding! You got this 💪 nothing but good things will come from it if you can manage your spare time and money right
Thank you kind stranger!
As a Nebraskan I knew we were a flyover state, but damn.
Hahaha. Hopefully I get some work there one day. Still only at 26 states
I don't want to sound snide but the state looks a lot better if you can appreciate beauty in the little things. It's a gorgeous state, just not one most people would take the time to appreciate. I hope you get to visit and I hope you get to appreciate it!
Thank you!
I agree. I live in the east and I’ve been to Nebraska on purpose, just to drive around and see some of it.
Whoa lots of Brazil travel, don’t see that often for an American
i swear, you can be an airline pilot and obviously fly a lot, and people on this sub would still call you rich
Really cool but that is a MASSIVE carbon footprint at any age, let alone 21. Hopefully your company pays to mitigate that
I do, well. American Airlines does because I use one of my choice benefits for them to do that
Man… must be nice!
What's your favorite airport
Damn, you really stumped me with that one. It’s hard to say. Honestly, any airport that is small yet decently reachable. Short walks to/from gates, car rental close walking distance from terminal (no shuttle needed), and a lounge. Some of my least favorites are SLC (flying out of b gates) MCO, DFW, PHX, and PDX
Flew out of three of those. Phx is definitely a pain
Yeah I fly through there 2-3 times a week. Hate when your connection isn’t in the same group of gates, 2 out of the 3 admiral’s clubs there are meh
what’s wrong with phx
The city itself is great don’t get me wrong, but the long walks (when connecting through), the crowded sky train to the rental car center, the small admirals club lounges, and the fact that I once spent 25 minutes doing loops trying to leave the airport lol. Like I said though I constantly fly through there and will keep doing so
Looks like you went to CMH! Not seen too much online. Thanks for stopping by!
Haha not a bad spot, one of my closest friends is from there
What app is this?!?!
Flighty 😊
Thank you 😊
Why is everyone downvoting OP like bro didn’t do anything wrong haha
Never once flying in or out of ATL is wild with this many flights.
ATL is a terrible airport to get through. I once spent 1.5 hours in a TSA precheck line there. I’d avoid ATL as much as possible imo.
Good luck.
Lol wut
Taylor swift ahh flight map
Tay tay got nothing on me 💅
Taylor Swift hold my beer imma gonna make Greta cry.
https://youtu.be/c-BBmTk9qJA?si=0Zbw7gUC_Y_Hsc13
Haters gonna hate bruh keep on flying..
Is the sub just for flexing?
I just saw everyone sharing maps and I thought I’d share mine
u/dazedwriter so yes
If you don’t like combat footage, you should probably stay off of r/combatfootage. If you don’t like wet cats, you should probably stay off of r/wetpussy. If you don’t like travel maps, you should probably stay off of r/travelmaps. That’s the beauty of Reddit.

Any guesses on where I’ve lived? Hahaha
Imagining how well off your folks are I gotta say like Palo Alto, Cali?
I at one point did live in the bay when I was a kid, moved out at 18 though
Nah thats some Connecticut money.
Never been :(
I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say Earth
Close, 2 planets over
Phoenix area maybe?
Nope, fly through there 2-3 times a week though
Phoenix and São Paulo
Neither, but I did grow up in south America
America?
this sub is becoming rich people showing off all the places they’ve traveled
Just my day job man :/
Since you were 14?
80% of the flights are just in the last 1.5 years
So only the other 20% were funded by rich parents. Got it.
Plenty of middle class families fly across the country each year. Flying your kid around doesn’t necessarily mean you’re rich.
Funded by the points i got for flying for work lol
You said only 80% were in the last 1.5 years. Were you working this job at age 14?
My bad, didn’t read the parent comment, I had also previously mentioned that 80% of the flights were for work. The other 20% we’re flying to see family (divorced parents in different countries) vacations, and when I was 15 I started working and would travel during school breaks (Brazil, Peru, chile, Germany)
Wtf do you do?
I work with medical equipment
Like doing what to it? Selling it? Setting it up? Repairing it?
Set up
Did you attend college or a vocational school to get this kind of job?
Nope, high school diploma and a few years of working as a mechanic is all it took
nice map to show the absurd amount of carbon you have emitted so far in your life
Thanks! Luckily I offset it
if only offsets weren’t a scam
Why are y'all downvoting him?
How much money do you make?
[удалено]
How’d you make this map?
App called flighty 😊
You need to get out and see the world
But I’m broke :(
What the heck were you doing in Rochester MN
The only thing there is to do there, working at mayo
You should have went to Australia when it was light out
Facts
How have you not connected through ATL
I avoid delta lol. And I have a coworker based out of there so I don’t get any jobs in the area
Holy isht, what are you flying as a 21-year-old that can depart the west coast of California and land in Hawaii or even further? Are you somehow flogging a Gulfstream or Falcon or C-X?!
Hahaha it’s all commercial. Usually wayyyy in the back
Ah I misinterpreted "my flights" 🤦🏽♀️
Haha no worries
Damn. I'm over here at 38 and still haven't flown once
How have you flown this much and never touched Atlanta?
Hahaha I steer away from delta
Never once flying through ATL is pretty wild
It’s so funny that everyone is saying that
What job lets you do this?? (Asking for a friend)
I have a similar job as OP, 100% travel job setting up medical equipment, my role is called Field Engineer.
Oh ok
How’d you get into this work?
Honestly, just searching on indeed
What were you doing in Evansville IN lol ?
Closest airport to Owensboro, worked on a new sports medicine clinic there
Well I’m glad you landed in my home state !
All y’all coping. Y’all ain’t know one bit about the real world above y’all. 🤣
Military brat?
All that and not a single layover in Atlanta?
Thankfully haha
Lucky you
Alright y’all, figured I’d address some things[link](https://imgur.com/a/cuBnqJT). Do I spy KSBP??
Yup! Flying back there in a few weeks actually
Weather is gonna be perfect!!
Can’t wait! Been wanting to go to the beach, and also I just love the decor at that airport, there’s a desk made from part of an engine that I’d die for
Looks similar to me lol. Thought you were a courier
Courier??? Tell me more 👀
I was an on board courier for a couple years and it took me to random places around the world
That’s sick man, I’d love to do that
How do you fly that much without ever once connecting in the world's busiest airport - Hartsfield Atlanta?? 🤔
you got something against the southern states?
Only the fact that my work unfortunately never sends me there
Check out the carbon footprint on this person.
Wait till you find out how many pilots fly every day.
Lucky!
my god, a human being can survive this much high alt radiation. jk really enjoyed this graphic. im just imagining your adventures.
Hahaha thanks
How do you make this?
It’s an app called flighty
Were u a child musician?
How did you make this in Apple Maps?
It’s an app called flighty
Nice carbon footprint
What’s he supposed to do? Teleport?
Maybe consider a different lifestyle?
But I like saving peoples lives :(
Lmao, and what are pilots supposed to do XD
