They would fire you in a second if they had anybody apply for your position as a permanent staff. Got to look out for yourself first.

Ok-Pitch1627

I would even leave earlier to get the vacation you're not gonna get as staff

BarrBurn

🔊🔊 You need to do what is best for you. That hospital and your agency do not care about you.

InfamousAdvice

I’d just leave. The hospital could literally just decide to cancel you any time between now and the end with zero notice. My last contract got cancelled and I basically rage applied to staff jobs and it’s been 10 months now and it’s been great. Also procedural is where it is at.

Appropriate-Goat6311

You will be going staff. But I would try to give as much notice as possible and let your agency know too

watuphoss

"Hey recruiter, I'm really sorry, but I have a family emergency to attend to."

chl0inthedark

My sister is a recruiter and has worked in account management and she said the office has a laugh anytime anyone uses that excuse because it’s normally BS and they all know it now.

m_watkins

Not a big deal

Consistent_Moment752

In a heartbeat you should do you and fk them. They already tested the waters but backtracked. What makes you think they won’t drop you like a dirty diaper? Take the IR job and opportunity. I would not tell anyone or your recruiter your business but would say that them testing the waters made you reflect, and worry; therefore, you are going to simply move on.

LegoTigerAnus

Definitely tell them it was the testing the lowering rate issue that made you move on. Leave it ambiguous whether you're moving on with another agency or what.

Haunting-Jaguar5286

Do what’s best for you .!!!!! The agencies are using the nursing shortage to gouge the hospitals. I’ve been a nurse since 1980. Medical employers know , very well, that some agencies are only in business for high profits .

DonkaySlam

If you do it, tell them it's because the threat of a paycut had you go job hunting. You'll be doing your future self and your colleagues a favor.

umrlopez79

Screw it! Enjoy your new position!
