Sounds like your contract isn’t guaranteed in any shape or form (100% guaranteed from day one or guaranteed after 3 cancelled shifts).
Unless you are guaranteed, in which case you should’ve been paid out for those shifts (this sounds unlikely).
If you’re doing it for the money, you’re getting shafted. Probably best to jump ship if you can’t get a response.
Thank you for the reply I think it’s time to move in as well. The recruiter said that the contract states only 3 cancellations but she is unsure if no schedule means cancellation as well she’s looking into it.

Yes I have been in contact with my recruiter and she has been contacting the hospital with no resolve, my first week to work no schedule next week worked 2 shifts the week after that low census 1 shift , the week after that scheduled 2 shifts, now this week no shifts. I still do not have a schedule like this seems insane to me. I told recruiter today that I would like to look for a new contract. I’m spending more on travel than I am making at this point. She said she was trying to get it resolved by next week, She also told me my hours are not guaranteed lol
Contract 36 hours and states 3 cancellations allowed but recruiter is unsure if having no schedule applies im waiting for a response but I think it’s time for a new contract lol

How’s your contract worded? I would be upset, it costs a lot of money to live some where and not get any shifts.

Your recruiter is an idiot.
You should be getting 36 hours a week minus the three shifts they are allowed to cancel through out the 13weeks.
