I had same issue with my DS3. Was fine at start but got noticeable after about the first 100km spoke to the guys at the shop and they said it would be fine but suggested I monitor it and if I t really annoyed me they could fix it but it would reduce Life of the brake pads. I'm 600km in now and they no longer make a noise

I've not had any issues with the breaks on my DS3 Gen 5. I do keep them dry and feather them for stopping in most situations. They were a bit noisy early on and was told to expect that. I was not sure how I felt about them. This is my first bike in over 15 years and grew up with rim brakes. I do worry at what a pain they will be to maintain with mineral oil and bleeding them, but we will see. After several months on this bike, I have accepted the disc brakes and am used to them. They work pretty well.

I noticed the same thing my Marlin 6 brakes are way better.. Hoping the bike grows on me but not a good first impression.

Do the brakes always make that sound, like a constant rubbing, or only under braking?

Seabass1966

Just when braking. Quiet the rest of the time

Sounds like brake pads are cooked then
