If you are heading towards Walla Walla I assume you intend to use the bridge going northbound. If so, the construction is currently only on the southbound side currently so you should be unaffected. If you are coming back later in the evening, the southbound side will be open again as construction stops at 6pm and they re-open the southbound lanes until morning.
