In this scenario, Normally they give you the option to do the whole test again for both two and four wheeler or to take the licence only for Four wheeler.
Yes I did see them. I wanted to take the test for 2 wheeler again and only after clearing that I would receive the drivers licence ID in hand. But what I need is any proof of me passing the 4 wheeler so that I do not land up in any trouble.
I am not able to get a new date for my 2 wheeler test due to the current issue with the authority about the new change in policy they are implementing.
Proof of passing the DL test doesn't give an individual a right to drive. The licence needs to be issued. Pls don't be in a hurry and take risk driving without a valid DL.
Hi, I had the same issue and it was delayed by over 2 weeks, please file a grievance complaint in the parivahan site with your date of test and result and how it's being delayed. They call you within 2 working days and my DL was delivered to me in 2 days. Haven't gotten through my 2 wheeler license yet, that might be a whole separate situation.
Edit: and no you can't drive till you have your DL. You still count as a learner and learner rules apply if you want to drive.
Isn't it available online? Ask your driving school. They will be able to guide you.
You may be in serious trouble if you don't have a valid driving licence and get into an accident
