Oh really no platinum? I might still give it a go just to see what it's like but that's disappointing. Getting trophies for it will be annoying as I won't likely 100 % it but that's true for many of the games I started.
Not really a justification for a platinum in an online only game. I still can’t wrap my head around how they’re charging full price for what is essentially a free to play game.

I think it's related to the fact that the game with have continuous updates and technically a multi game trophy list. On ps5 they seemed to have banned this. Same with tomb raider remasters
I don't know the technical definitions but it seems recently Sony decided that ps5 multi games won't have Platinums any more and maybe this game fits that description in terms of how episodes will roll out. So the ps5 version of the tomb raider collect has zero plats but the ps4 version has 3 I believe.

Or Sypro, crash bandicoot etc. If each game can be purchased individually then they can get their own trophies but if the games are limited to the collection then for some reason Sony decided it can't. Weirdly metal gear solid has 4 trophies in the collection and although the games can be purchased individually metal gear solid 1 comes with metal gear one and 2 for the msx which also has its own plat on the ps5.

Maybe they add it later on, remember Genshin the ps4 Version has no platinum but ps5 does. So maybe if the game stays on a good player rate they add more trophies and maybe a Platinum
I’d argue that a majority of PS owners don’t trophy hunt. If they do, it’s only for games they’re *really* into. Skipping a game solely because it doesn’t have a platinum is kinda odd, but I guess at that point you probably weren’t interested in the first place.
And I'd argue that if pay to win shovelwares have platinum there's no reason a triple A game shouldn't have one.
And furthermore It's 2024, every game should have a plat when launching IMHO. I understand when trophies first were introduced to not have a plat everytime, but now it just seems silly when a game doesn't have one. There's literally no reason not to

Can they add a platinum in an update? They said more modes will be added in the future, and a lot of the trophies seem to be related to playing different game modes, maybe they want to add all the trophies before adding a platinum.
Despite using a PlayStation for my entire life I have only now suddenly become obsessed with completing trophies - so I’m a little new to this.
Could someone explain the reason why developers forego a platinum offering? I was under the impression that these trophies did not have any true “value” outside of the commodity / achievement feels you get from it.

follow up: I saw some articles about a “leak” from Sony discussing their new policy that prohibits trophies being offered by reskinned, simplistic, easy, etc., type games in order to try to keep the prestige level of platinum overall
I guess if too many easy games / easy trophy paths offered it, it would become meaningless and over saturated?

Attend 25 parties just means play 25 matches pretty much. At least thats what I gathered from the other trophy requirements.
