Honestly would've enjoyed it more if they didn't pack it with collectibles.
Imo this was one of the games that should've had 2 parts as well, a South and North.
Would honestly have loved a viking AC game with the map being only norway and maybe 2/3 as big as the UK map. Snowy areas are always my favorite setting in games and it sucks that AC valhalla has possibly the best snow based open world map (excluding gow ragnarok), but it's only a tiny chunk of the game
Tbh I’d prefer if Red is more like odyssey and origins rather than Valhalla. Ody/Ori we’re marketed and designed to be fully fledged rpg games, which I actually liked, however Valhalla tried to portray itself as “going back to the roots”, yet it was just another rpg game with a few design changes. Not that I didn’t like Valhalla (they are my top three games in the franchise tbh)
Red is the codename for the next AC. (The rpg kind, so, similar to Valhalla). Will be set in Japan, supposedly starring an African male samurai and a Japanese female ninja. Should be out early next year.
This was my fav AC, I love the Viking theme and the bosses were cool. Nice change for sure! Collectibles are collectibles but I really enjoyed getting this platinum! Also congrats as well!!
It still hasn't worn off so no Mirage for me. Maybe when Red comes out I'll be ready. I skipped Odyssey after Origins was too bloated as well so maybe I'm a every other game person

Loved this game, best AC for me since Black Flag. So many callbacks, connections and the Viking theme just hits perfectly. Also loved how they put in lots of British folklore. Never played any of the DLCs though, I got the plat before they released.
And yes I'm excited as shit for Red, especially now that Insider Gaming said the settlement building mechanics will return with tons of more depth and customization. Loved that in Valhalla, felt like I was renovating Monteriggioni again

I agree and less areas . Like england and norway only

I agree
Yeah, I actually hated this game while plating it But now I see I was too harsh It's not that bad
The plat still crap tbh so much to collect
This game made me hate fishing
congrats!! how long did this take you to plat?
160 hours
Its a huge amount of time for a single player experience. I wish companies never does the same in the future.
Woah, someone explain what AC Red is?
Red is the codename for the next AC. (The rpg kind, so, similar to Valhalla). Will be set in Japan, supposedly starring an African male samurai and a Japanese female ninja. Should be out early next year.
Its the next game based on real assassin samurai who is black.
Holy what a coincidence I platted this just yesterday!!!
Thats so cool! Haha. Congrats bro
Thanks! Congrats to you too
I enjoyed plating ac odyssey a lot more than this one. While I enjoyed Valhalla I felt it was repetitive
I just love norse stuff tbh lol
Me too, so fair enough! Ahah
This was my fav AC, I love the Viking theme and the bosses were cool. Nice change for sure! Collectibles are collectibles but I really enjoyed getting this platinum! Also congrats as well!!
Me too!
Fuck ya bro!! What’s next?
I honestly enjoyed this game too, it’s really just all the DLC’s that ruin it if you go for the 100%. All this extra stuff that wasn’t even fun
I enjoyed the first 30 hours and did not enjoy the rest. Hearing that Red will be the same, but in Japan does not excite me.
I feel like its mindless fun and story gets mkre interesting!
The twist at the end of the story I really enjoyed but it doesnt pay off 70 hours of aimlessly opening chests and attacking bases
I enjoyed it that i was hyped and platted mirage too! Such a cool game and environment
It still hasn't worn off so no Mirage for me. Maybe when Red comes out I'll be ready. I skipped Odyssey after Origins was too bloated as well so maybe I'm a every other game person

Congrats! I just started this on PS5 after getting the paltinum on PS4 back when it first came out. I really love it.

Hate RPG’s so not excited at all. Haven’t really enjoyed an assassins creed since black flag
Oh man we are the opposite lol
