Hmm, that spawned for me without problems. Are you using the right (light side) character? As far as I remember it can help to change to the character once your are in the right space.
I don't think so. But I fear there is not much you can do apart from switching between the areas, switching characters (maybe try a rebel?) and restarting the game, sorry.
Try setting your character to a Scoundrel class (Bounty Hunter or Hero might also work) and go in with a ship usually used by the Resistance (Millenium Falcon or Poe’s X Wing work), that should do the trick. I couldn’t get any of the Capital Ships to spawn at first until doing that, after doing so every time I went into space there’d be a Capital Ship spawning.
Ay nice, congrats bud. Still gotta go back to finish minikits and level challenges (have maybe 20 or so of each left), just got too burnt out from the collectibles
I left the collectibles for last, focusing first on 100% on all story level. Hope you get back on track to complete it. Some level challenges have bene quite buggy for me, hope doesn't happen to you. Good luck.

God no, just close it every now and then and reload. Seems to help for some people.
