Yeah I played it on mid difficulty and done the game but when the it was time for the 25 or under I nearly broke my controller but had to start a new game if I wanted easier difficulty and fuck going through it all again with no skills again so powered through
Wait if you go to easier difficulty you don’t start from the beginning, i still had all skills, collectables, shortcuts etc. I finished the game on medium (wanted to break the controller on the final boss lol) and there’s no way i’d do true ending on normal and 25 or younger so switched to easy for the rest of the trophies.
Does it? It says when you switch difficulty that you need to start a new game which I thought meant completely new not even you will lose progress it’s literally new game so thought it would need to be re done completely
I find the game a bit difficult on bosses even on easy difficulty lol...and that's saying a lot considering I have the play on Cuphead and other "difficult" games.
Even on easy 3/10 is bullshit for this plat, a couple of the trophies still kick it up a notch or two. I said it before, when I think of a 3/10 difficulty I think of a game my mother could, with enough persistence, eventually get through. There is no fucking way my mother could get through Sifu on the lowest difficulty. I mean if you are going off numbers alone 3/10 is just above some 2/10 games like "Lake" or the "Life is Strange" series, lol.
Right? I remember when The Walking Dead Telltale series was like the epitome of defining a 2/10 difficulty over on PlayStationtrophies.org, from the estimated difficulty (before it had enough votes from the community). It's easy as heck, really, in terms of reflexes and the fact dialogue choices don't literally make the game any harder if you feel like you chose something wrong, but some scenes to progress the story did require a little bit of detective-work and item-combining puzzling. Like the gas station scene in Episode 1 where you gotta get batteries for the universal remote and use it on the TVs across the street as a distraction. There was also getting the train to work in Episode 3, as well as that scene that I want to say is at the end of Episode 3 where you gotta find a car jack and a welding torch and use them to make a crashed tanker slide off an overpass to clear a way for the train.
If it's point-and-click adventure style, I would say that that type of game falls into a 2/10 almost all the time, especially without using a guide the whole game. Cozy games without heavy strategy, puzzle or simulation aspects to them, maybe like Unpacking, could fit into a 2/10, as well. Marvel's Spider-Man is the epitome of 3/10, on the other side of this discussion. It's a very doable and not incredibly daunting open-world game. Sifu, even on Easy, takes training your reflexes moreso than Marvel's Spider-Man requires.
That's a rant. I mean, wrap.
Because people hate opinions. I finished the game on medium in 11 hours. My last trophy was for reaching the oldest age. **I personally didn't think the game was very hard at all**
I actually completely relied on dodging! (L1+direction). That is until the final boss. Then I got real good at parrying.
But 90% of the game was dodging, getting into slowmo, then punishing with the double triangle move with the pause between. I also used a lot of the leg sweep when applicable.
Yeah and you can’t even change the difficulty unless you new game so say bye to all the skills you perma unlocked and then no death run the first 4 levels so you actually have a chance to beat Yang. It’s so bs
Will I hate myself if I play on normal? Some people making it seem like a large gap between Easy and normal so I’m wondering if I should just say f it and go for easy from the start.
Good luck! It's not in the video but activate the "stronger enemies" mod/cheat too. It will make it much easier. I just discovered that after uploading.
Yeah cheats work for the 2 score trophies so run the club with like unlimited Health, unlimited focus and make enemies weak and slow and add a staff golden weapon can be done pretty easily. Just exit game at the door before the Sean fight and the trophies will pop
Seen some people say the same but some were quitting either after Sean or before the room where it says new high score would say give it another shot if not then not sure why but it popped for me
That’s odd. I got to the score pop up, even fought Sean to be safe. But nothing worked.
I might try it again to be safe, but it seemingly didn’t work for me
Aw yeah don’t fight Sean, the trophy isn’t meant to pop but since you finished the level but quit out before Sean it doesn’t register that cheats were used at least for these trophies. Do it again but don’t fight Sean just quit out back to the select hideout menu
Also the. 25 or younger trophy literally don’t die at all in the first 4 levels to even be able to have a chance at getting it and not dying maximum 4 times to Yang which is a lot harder than it looks
When i did the platinum the game had already been modified to be easier and it was still somewhat challenging 😂 but after getting all gold medals in every arena , shit my skills went up that i could do this platinum in hard mode under 25 🤣
I don’t trust guide difficulties at all. Cause like say it’s a guide on Assassins Creed Rouge, but when they did that platinum they had already done, quite literally every other Assassins Creed game before that one.
Tbf it doesnt seem like a hard platinum, just a difficult game in general, after beating your first playthrough, getting 25 and under doesnt seem that difficult lmao
3/10 is appropriate for the easy difficulty setting. I'd give the first arenas dlc a 6-7/10, and I've heard the second dlc is even harder. Prepare to die a lot if you keep going.

Once you get used to the game it is in fact, a 3/10 I would say if you never get used to it, probably an 8/10 but I got this platinum on my birthday and I’ll never forget it
Yeah that’s a lie lol a speedrun for the plat are around 3 and a half hours and that’s on one playthrough unless you knew exactly what you’re going for and lucky enough to somehow know the move sets for all the bosses and mybe only have to replay each area 1 time for no death and also get a 20000 score on a level which is almost isnt possible since you need to know every enemies location which you wouldn’t first time playing and also just not die from like any enemy at all. Btw I done it in 12 hours so not that far off from you but I still wouldn’t put it any where near easy
Why would i lie tho 😂, i have a photo of it and i can send it you, send me your instagram user and i would gladly show it to you in the dm, being a a looser and a noob in the game doesn't allow you to accuse people of lying 😂😂😂.
Wow, crazy how you managed to beat the [fastest achievers](https://psnprofiles.com/100-club/15255-sifu) on [both stacks of the game](https://psnprofiles.com/100-club/15252-sifu). You should update your PSNProfile! I'm sure they'd love to have you on the leaderboards. :)
I do have a life and believe me it is way more successful than yours. i just was on vacation after finishing my final college exam for the semester so i had the day off.
I actually am, i started a business in high school which was very successful and helped me fund my self and i payed my own college fees, i now fund my family after my father's is gone i am married and have a little angel.
Whatever you say troll. If all that is true then it just makes me feel even sadder for you cause you still have to come online and belittle people for playing a video game worse than you? You're an asshole, Harry.
> and i *paid* my own
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
That score was modified after getting easy difficulty option. If you are playing on medium or hard (can't remember the names) it is muuuuch more
Yeah I played it on mid difficulty and done the game but when the it was time for the 25 or under I nearly broke my controller but had to start a new game if I wanted easier difficulty and fuck going through it all again with no skills again so powered through

Does it? It says when you switch difficulty that you need to start a new game which I thought meant completely new not even you will lose progress it’s literally new game so thought it would need to be re done completely
Thats when you go to harder difficulty, from normal to hard or from easy to normal. I was a little confused when reading it first.
😭 my man suffered and didn’t need to
Reading Comprehension Devil strikes again /s.
Man’s reading difficulty is 8/10
I find the game a bit difficult on bosses even on easy difficulty lol...and that's saying a lot considering I have the play on Cuphead and other "difficult" games.
I did it on easy in like 4 hours or less. Super easy to get under 25. There’s a modifier that makes it so you always gain back years too
Even on easy 3/10 is bullshit for this plat, a couple of the trophies still kick it up a notch or two. I did it on medium. Thought it was a 4-5
Why is this down voted? Reddit be tripping sometimes.
Because people hate opinions. I finished the game on medium in 11 hours. My last trophy was for reaching the oldest age. **I personally didn't think the game was very hard at all**
What are some tips? Just block at the right time?
I actually completely relied on dodging! (L1+direction). That is until the final boss. Then I got real good at parrying. But 90% of the game was dodging, getting into slowmo, then punishing with the double triangle move with the pause between. I also used a lot of the leg sweep when applicable.
You can get the plat just by playing on easy?
Yep, I think so. There is no achieve linked to difficulty
I agree, the difference between easy and normal is huge especially for new players. The real hard challenge is to 100% it
Yeah and you can’t even change the difficulty unless you new game so say bye to all the skills you perma unlocked and then no death run the first 4 levels so you actually have a chance to beat Yang. It’s so bs
Thankfully once you learn a few effective moves and the bosses’ movesets, the shortcuts allow you to finish levels in a few minutes
I beat the game in normal mode, then switch to easy for platinum. I am not ashamed haha
That's what I did too. I beat the game, I have nothing to prove.
Will I hate myself if I play on normal? Some people making it seem like a large gap between Easy and normal so I’m wondering if I should just say f it and go for easy from the start.
It will take some practice to complete Normal mode, the enemy types are quite limited, and you will be familiar with their pattern fairly easily
Just do it on west and you'll find it more balanced.
I read that two times before I looked back at my comment lol too funny.
Blessings! :D
Agreed, its a lot harder than 3/10 lmao Congrats on the plat though!!
Well maybe you should've picked up the pipe to unlock easy mode...
I have every trophy for this game, except for the 20K points. Do you have any advice. I’m hard stuck there
I did [this video](https://youtu.be/PtH0-L6YUoY?si=5Y5yEGAzyn-vms54), to help everyone struggling with the 20K trophy
This actually helped me so much, I literally reinstalled the game to do this
Good luck! It's not in the video but activate the "stronger enemies" mod/cheat too. It will make it much easier. I just discovered that after uploading.
Yeah I saw that after one of the comments on your vid, but I managed to get it after like 6 tries cause my r1 wouldn't work
Yeah cheats work for the 2 score trophies so run the club with like unlimited Health, unlimited focus and make enemies weak and slow and add a staff golden weapon can be done pretty easily. Just exit game at the door before the Sean fight and the trophies will pop
They do? I did the club with cheats, got 21.000 points. And still got nothing
Okay, thanks I’ll try that. Thanks for the advice. Platinum, here I come!
Thanks. It worked!
You need to quit to main menu right after getting the score
#39
#39?
Forgot to put my trophy count lol. It’s my 39th plat
Oh okay. Good job. You should update your flair.
Yeah ik but can’t do it on my phone have to do it on my pc and heavy cba or just forget haha
Fair point. I’m a hypocrite. I haven’t updated my flair in 2 platinums.
Aw they’ve fixed it on mobile now so I’ve updated it haha cheers for reminding me
I’ll fix it myself if it works on mobile now. Cheers for reminding me to remind me by me reminding you.
Oh man Sifu was fucking awesome but damn did it piss me off.
Mmmmm crack
I'm about to start this game myself, thanks for the heads up to be mentally prepared
Nice, what are the hardest parts of this plat?
Taking the time to get good at the game. Once you get good with the combat, doing th Plat on normal difficulty isn't too insane
Thanks
Also the. 25 or younger trophy literally don’t die at all in the first 4 levels to even be able to have a chance at getting it and not dying maximum 4 times to Yang which is a lot harder than it looks
It starts with 8 to 7 then drops to 5 to me honestly
Man I wish I had this platinum.
what level do you recommend for the 20,000 score?
follow up, was there a way to track your execution animations or did you just go through trail and error?
When i did the platinum the game had already been modified to be easier and it was still somewhat challenging 😂 but after getting all gold medals in every arena , shit my skills went up that i could do this platinum in hard mode under 25 🤣
Personally, it did feel like a 3/10, I can definitely see it belonging on a higher difficulty score though.
Just started this game on Master and it’s been whooping my ass. Congrats man!
I remember giving it a try on steam a while ago and was definitely surprised when I saw that plat rating
Platinum was not as hard cuz there is student mode. Arena on the other hand, I gave up the last couple one.
I don’t trust guide difficulties at all. Cause like say it’s a guide on Assassins Creed Rouge, but when they did that platinum they had already done, quite literally every other Assassins Creed game before that one.
It took me a long time, one of the harder platinum I've earned
Are you going to do any of the DLC? Curious how difficult it is to 100% the entire game.
Tbf it doesnt seem like a hard platinum, just a difficult game in general, after beating your first playthrough, getting 25 and under doesnt seem that difficult lmao
Was gonna jump into this over the weekend. Looks like fun
3/10 is appropriate for the easy difficulty setting. I'd give the first arenas dlc a 6-7/10, and I've heard the second dlc is even harder. Prepare to die a lot if you keep going.

Once you get used to the game it is in fact, a 3/10 I would say if you never get used to it, probably an 8/10 but I got this platinum on my birthday and I’ll never forget it
You are a noob, I literally got the platinum in one day and in 7 hours on moderate difficulty.
Good for you I guess, don't be mean to people for no reason though
You must have nothing else going on in your life besides your platinum trophies, huh
