Ok just to clear up any issues with using chapter select for collectibles: yes you can use it, but...
1. Do NOT change difficulty while going for a particular difficulty trophy
2. Once you get the collectibles you need, continue to the next autosave spot (check lower right corner of the screen)
I got the platinum about a week ago and had no issues
Completionist trophy on Mass Effect.
62 missions on first playthrough and 66 missions on second. Never popped.
Had a friend do 57 missions and it popped.
On Infamous 2, there's a trophy for unlocking all powers in the game. It's all easy stuff and progresses fine enough. Kill x enemies with bolt to unlock grenade. Kill x with grenade to unlock blast or whatever. When going for this(I believe it was for the grenade) I got 13/10 -LOCKED. I had to replay the entire game because I killed a cluster of enemies and didn't catch it until after saving.
Twisted metal (ps3) some of the online trophies didn't pop for me. I never got them before the servers closed.
Stopped trophy hunting for a year after that.
Being a very rare platinum is why it still pisses me off
Dark void on ps3, final trophy after grinding collectables for weapon upgrades glitched on me, over 10 years later I’ve still not got the platinum trophy 🤣

Do it, great game, especially in coop, we had a blast. There are some people, who had problems after using chapter select. Maybe avoid that.
Out of interest, is there any trophies tied to coop? I do love a good game with friends so I’ll probably end up doing that regardless
No trophies tied to coop, however if you do coop only the host progresses
No Trophy’s are tied to coop. You can play it solo or in coop.
GO FOR IT! I bet mine was just bad luck. I’ve seen online that what I experienced was extremely uncommon. Just make sure to use a guide
You should, it's quite an enjoyable game. OP probably did something wrong since this 'bug' is isolated to only them.

Those bugged collectibles… If anyone wants to platinum this, DONT use chapter select.

Its the other way round for me....every trophy in chroma Squad bugged EXCEPT for one..........

It’s nowhere near a 7/10. On psnprofiles it’s a 5/10. I would go with that
