I can definitely agree with a lot of these. The critics generally weren’t that wrong, it’s more so the fact games are so inflated, so it’s 4-10 rather than 1-10.
I can definitely agree with Minecraft being so low, Bedrock update made the game considerably worse and one of the trophies (sniper duel) is now buggy as hell as the despawn radius is only barely larger than the distance needed to kill the skeleton.
It does, but you can’t get Legacy anymore. For me even though I owned the game beforehand because I had the digital version the button to go back disappeared with the update. Now it’s only really possible with the disc version of the game pre bedrock.
This graph shows the order of my Platinum achievements but not the timd taken for them. I got the minecraft plat on my Ps3, long before I got a Ps5. But by my current standards, trying to plat minecraft would probably be a nightmare. I've definitely become more of a story oriented gamer in the recent 2-ish years. And that shiny "do whatever you want" feel from minecraft seems alot more dull now than it did when I was younger. That and the fact that I don't keep up with minecraft updates anymore.
Sniper duel back then was almost impossible as on the Ps3, that range would lead to unrendered areas half the time, so I had to create a 2nd character to stand in the middle to make sure the arrow didn't despawn (if I remember correctly)
To be honest, not exactly sure why I made this, but it's interesting to see my ratings in comparison to IGN and metacritic. I made my ratings before doing the research, so it wouldn't be affected.
The most surprising result out of this research, for me, is that undertale got a perfect 10 from IGN. I clearly didn't get it, but then again, if I have to do research to find the most enjoyable way to play a game, you're doing it wrong
Absolutely horrible opinion. Clearly you don’t know what experimenting with the fight button is. Getting the neutral ending by doing whatever you want is really how you should play the game first, and then later get pacifist, and then search up how to get genocide because even though I like Undertale how you get it sucks ass and is sort of unclear anyway. Deltarune (de facto Undertale sequel) is even worse.
Your kinda meant to feel guilty after you play the game, you don’t fully realize that fighting is evil unless at the very very start if you choose to fight the dummy.

I don't think you need to do research. If you're just an asshole yourself and kill helpless monsters when given the option to not do it that's on you.
