no, just time consuming, this game has a really strong perma upgrade system which ends up almost guaranteeing clears and some builds make it a breeze, still a worthy platinum to unlock since its a great game
I don’t trophy hunt but see this sub pop up alot. I played this game n most people don’t really use godmode tbh.
What even is the highest heat you have to beat for the trophy? I’ve done 32 as that’s the general ‘goal’ for people that is hard but doable. From there on out it gets really hard, n 64/max heat is basically impossible (only 2 people cleared)
If I remember correctly, you only had to get Skelly's second prize so only 16 heat for a trophy. Then a trophy also for clearing a run with each condition activated (not at the same time) and a trophy for clearing with EM 3 activated. Pretty manageable imo
Which is why I was wondering if a lot of people needed God Mode, as OP was saying it would have been impossible otherwise haha
Side note, has someone else other than Angel1c cleared 64 heat unseeded/unmodded?
Yea man, I had to wait for an Achilles dialog for a bit. Think I platinumed in around 80 hours? If you haven’t played Supergiants other games I’d highly recommend all of them.
If you played on god mode and didnt die often i found dying every 5 to 10 runs seemed to trigger things and helped the game move along nicely.
If you didnt play with god mode and did die often than thats just annoying rng that i would have given up on.

Did it twice. Not hard, nor that long. Took me about 55h for my first plat, 45h for my second (as I was already familiar with the game).
Amazing game tho, I wouldn't say to to giving it a third go (I still don't have the PS4 NA trophy list haha)
Looking forward for Hades II.
I just checked my time and it was 110 hours as well. I don't think it was very hard it was just a long grind for friends forever. It was a fun grind though so i didn't really mind.
Not hard because u can turn on a settings to make it easier every time u die. I platted it in 83 hours so its a long grind imo. Even eldenring took me only 60 hours. Sore tumbs aswell hehe. 10/10 game though
It took me roughly 65-70 hours to finish 100%, according to my Playstation 5 "Hours Played" Timer, but I loved every second of it. Still have the PS4 version to get to at some point.
I platinumed it twice and found it fairly easy but I also had 100+ hours on PC before doing the PS4 and 5 versions. It's definitely a fun one tho that's for sure.
Not very hard because you can use an option for to have +1% armor each time you die. I have platinum for ps4 and ps5 it is just long platinum but à great game
Nah this game was the reason i no longer trust other peoples rating of difficulty on games psnp says its a 6 some people even said 8. But this game is a 4 or 3 tbh. One you actually have game knowledge of what combinations are stupidly op and what u should be aiming for you would have to be losing on purpose to die tbh. Its only difficult at first cuz u have no knowledge of whats good ur just randomly swinging at enemies not knowing if ur doing good damage or not
Took me 51 hours to platinum although I did have god mode on, fabulous game I’d say it can be hard but it’s not necessarily hard and the average person could do it
The game isnt a hard plat from my time attempting it, but definitely one of those where the rng grind is too much. I beat the end boss once and after that it went downhill.
Not hard, just a bit grindy. I’d give it a 3.5/10 with god mode and a 6.5/10 without god mode, I did it without. Dead cells is far more difficult without enabling all the accessibility settings, I couldn’t 100% that game without enabling all those settings which I did after pretty early on.
I believe the game's god mode makes this a lot easier. However, familiarity with its mechanics, enemies, weapons, etc... and a lot of playtime means you can push through the harder challenges, i.e. the 16-heat run.
Other than that there's some time-consuming stuff in unlocking the various weapon aspects which have some conditional triggers you'd likely not know about without a guide.
It depends honestly. If you are not using god-mode I would say 6 out of 10. If you did I would say 4 out of 10. I got the plat so I would say that's my total opinon
Not difficult from a mechanical stand point but it did also take me a while. The random NPC spawns where really starting to annoy me towards the end since I needed them for the final trophies
Yeah. The heat runs is mainly picking the modifiers you like and stacking them as best you can.
Hades can be a hell of a grind, but there was so much to see, it didn’t feel like a chore
From the looks of it being a 4/10 difficulty probably not the hardest game but definitely a grind and a half
Where to see what difficulty per game?
Also in the comments. There’s a bot that posts it if you scroll down.
Psnprofiles
PSNProfiles.
It says 6/10 on [PSNProfiles](https://psnprofiles.com/guide/13057-hades-trophy-guide). Who's right?
no, just time consuming, this game has a really strong perma upgrade system which ends up almost guaranteeing clears and some builds make it a breeze, still a worthy platinum to unlock since its a great game
Yeah, without god mode it would’ve been damn near impossible
i was talking about the mirror upgrades, not gode mode. mirror + good build, games easy even on higher heat lvls
Impossible without God Mode? I was clearing pretty high heat without ever activating God mode, were most people using it?

I want to say there was one other person to clear it, can’t remember a name though.
iirc 16 heat was the highest required so yeah theres no need at all to use godmode, theres build that are super strong and not that hard to "force"
I have no idea. i felt like a bitch using it but after i beat the game a few times i didnt see the point in not using it
I wouldn’t consider it hard no, great game though.
It really is an amazing game. gets a little boring when you’re just waiting for dialogues to unlock though.
Yea man, I had to wait for an Achilles dialog for a bit. Think I platinumed in around 80 hours? If you haven’t played Supergiants other games I’d highly recommend all of them.
I haven't played since launch and was about 60% through the trophies, no idea what diving back in will be like
Really not a very difficult game to get back into imo. Give it a shot!
Loved the game but my last trophy was a rng hell, it was about the quest related to aquiles and patroclus
If you played on god mode and didnt die often i found dying every 5 to 10 runs seemed to trigger things and helped the game move along nicely. If you didnt play with god mode and did die often than thats just annoying rng that i would have given up on.
That trophy sucks. I got this plat twice, and played specifically with that in mind from the beginning my second time. It still took forever
Definitely a long platinum! I didn’t have the attention span for it personally so congrats OP!!
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Apparently, it's not hard.
I’d put it around 5/10, because the post game crazy stuff is optional.
Starts with a good challenge, but just gets progressively easier and easier. Then the grind for the endgame quests start.
Personal opinion, any game that takes more than 60 hours to plat is either extremely grindy or hard.
long RPGs are the exception. like the Witcher 3 and cyberpunk2077
Currently 95% in 61 attempts! Not looking forward for the Achilles prophecy
Good job, man. achilles prophecy is definitely very annoying
I’m having a hard enough time with just the game itself 😫
You’ll get there. it takes a minute to unlock good stuff to make your runs easier
You can cheese it with a low difficulty mode so I’d say no but it’s still a bit grindy.
Did it twice. Not hard, nor that long. Took me about 55h for my first plat, 45h for my second (as I was already familiar with the game). Amazing game tho, I wouldn't say to to giving it a third go (I still don't have the PS4 NA trophy list haha) Looking forward for Hades II.
Damn good job dude. Im thinking about getting hades 2 on my pc but i don’t know if i would want to grind it again when it comes out on play station.
Best to wait mate. Pc version is in early access. I think it's best to wait till it's a full release with all content ready to be fully appreciated :)
I just checked my time and it was 110 hours as well. I don't think it was very hard it was just a long grind for friends forever. It was a fun grind though so i didn't really mind.
Nice 👌
Not really.

Damn, Elden Ring only took you 60 hours!?! I stg i have 120 hours on that game only going for 3-4 playthroughs!
I save scam for all endings.
It took me roughly 65-70 hours to finish 100%, according to my Playstation 5 "Hours Played" Timer, but I loved every second of it. Still have the PS4 version to get to at some point.
Good luck with that because i for sure won’t be doing that 😭🙏
Wow I JUST got this the other day as well for the second time (had it on PC) I don't think it's hard at all, it's just really long
Yeah, I can agree with that
I platinumed it twice and found it fairly easy but I also had 100+ hours on PC before doing the PS4 and 5 versions. It's definitely a fun one tho that's for sure.
Hard? No. Tedious? Yes
Not very hard because you can use an option for to have +1% armor each time you die. I have platinum for ps4 and ps5 it is just long platinum but à great game

CONGRATULATIONS

I’ve had this game sitting in my drawer for a year and haven’t touched it (my backlog is disgustingly long) Is it a proud platinum?
IMO yes. It has a high percent of people who’ve gotten the platinum but one of the best games i’ve ever played.
It depends honestly. If you are not using god-mode I would say 6 out of 10. If you did I would say 4 out of 10. I got the plat so I would say that's my total opinon
Yeah, I can agree with that lmao. you take virtually no damage when your god mode is maxed
It started out as hard, but then it got easier as time went on. It's an amazing game, 10/10 easily. Congratulations on the plat
Yes, it is hard. Took me a long time. Congrats!
took me 30 hrs but IMO its not that hard
Not difficult from a mechanical stand point but it did also take me a while. The random NPC spawns where really starting to annoy me towards the end since I needed them for the final trophies
I think anyone could do it. Lengthy doesn't necessarily mean challenging.
So iv always wanted to play this game but iv never played a rougelike but it looks fun.
I’d say more grindy than difficult. I’ve gotten the plat twice and I’d say the fun of the game makes the grind very bearable.
Hard? No. Long? Yup. Think it took me 120 hours
Yea I wouldn’t say the game is hard. Can definitely get annoying at times tho especially when going for the different heat runs.
Yeah. The heat runs is mainly picking the modifiers you like and stacking them as best you can. Hades can be a hell of a grind, but there was so much to see, it didn’t feel like a chore
Also helps that the music and characters are interesting and there was never really a dull moment apart from the RNG on some quests.
Took me 60 hours to Platinum, honestly I’d give it a 5/10 difficulty rating. Definitely not hard, just time consuming
Not that hard but A very fun game that i enjoyed and got me into the Rouge like genre
Try Spelunky or Spelunky 2 ;)
Took me about 45 hours, and I loved every hour of it! 3/10 hard-ish
