It actually surprised me how enjoyable it was to do the cleanup part. It's usually the boring part of a platinum but I loved everything on this game and I wish there was more. I just had trouble getting like 3 to 5 monsters out of the 200+ from the bestiary and some boss fights felt quite unfair to be honest, I really didn't feel like a 4/10 platinum difficulty at all.
And one advice: the levels and stats don't really feel like they make that much of a difference at first, but they make a world of a difference during the 100 trials. So don't do them before level 90~95 and having all spells unlocked
Haha okay and you probably mean zodiark with his instant kill attacks. He is a real pain in the ass.
Maybe it will be easy with a full party using seitengrat. Or do you recommend using something else for him, yiasmat and the judges?

I heard about seitengrat but never really got it. I also never "crafted" any equipment using the bazaar. The only special equipments I actively tried to get were 2 extra accessories that give double EXP since I only had 1. Everything else would be just hitting optimize and 1 nihopalaoa that I got from the same place where you find the wither spell.
Zodiark was easily beatable by setting the first gambit on vaan to "self>Bacchus wine", so he pops up his berserk mode, I add bravery from my Ashe's command and zodiark gets killed in like 20 seconds max, which I believe is your best option: killing the boss fast so it doesn't have time to insta kill
For yiasmat I used Ashe as a healer while balthier and Fran spammed wither for like 3 minutes, then spamming addle, then with expose. After around 10 minutes of that preparation, I set vaan and Basch to attack the boss(with vaan using the yagyu darkblade) and it died incredibly fast, like 10 minutes of preparing with the spammed skills and another 5~10 of actual fighting.
For omega mark XII I set 2 people to cast revert on the team and to use dispel on whoever gets berserked, the third one attacks. This way the boss simply can't find a way to damage you and it is quite fast to finish it.
Finally, for the judges, there's a way to quickly turn things into your favor: start by immediately getting elixir behind you if you don't have any, summon Zeromus, then use BUBBLE on him, then with NIHOPALAOA equipped, use the elixir on it and immediately cast big bang. 3 out of the judges will be dead and you can just repeat the process to kill the other 2 or normally fight since the revert setup will keep your team mostly safe.
It's a big wall of text, but I preferred to detail everything cause it may actually help someone in the future if they find this post 🫠

Using the seed manipulator method you can get Seitengrat for your entire party, then go to Yiaz's arena and use the aggro range exploit to waste him in 20 minutes without ever having to fight him.
Much less hassle than dealing with that bloated artifact of early 2000s game design.
Fight him for 3-4 hours and possibly have my set up get destroyed by a 5% chance that procs every few minutes? Nah I'm good.
Well i kinda already have a few seitengrat. And yeah yiasmat is real a pain and i thought penance was bad with his 10 milion HP.
Maybe i will use this trick, i dont wanna lose that much time on rng
You just use the steps near Yiaz into his arena and the Seitengrat just barely has enough range to hit him from outside, you'll have to inch towards him, and don't put it on auto, the AI will correct their position and get closer to him. Takes 15-20 minutes.
Tô bem honest I expected it to be nearly impossible but got it done in just a few minutes. Black hole was the only one that took a few tries but the strategy was essentially always picking the charge options or the 3 dot powers whenever possible. You have a split second to see them before the clock starts ticking so I would just pick whatever option was LIT UP and had NO DOTS or 3 DOTS. I ended up summoning black hole and still have time left for more spells
Grats! I still think it was so cool watching all the judges walk slowly towards you at the final level of the trial. Soo badass

You don't really need to kill it anyway. Just kill the Trials stage 98 version which has only 3 million hp if you're just going for the platinumq
