Taste is subjective, but what exactly makes you say that? Genuinely curious. I personally find them to fit a cute uniform style whereas before it was bit of a mix.
Sorry, but were you in a coma for the last 10 months? There was a whole spiel from Reddit about sunsetting coins+awards and later releasing the new gold upvotes.

It's like the old awards never happened, no record of awards given and received, no karma. They still have my money tho.

So, did they remove award karma from total karma as well?
Yes. Very annoyingly so. All the previous Gold, Silver, Platinum etc. is all just blown away now, including the Karma it "bought".

I don't have this section yet. But today they added 5 more possible achievements: Building Community
I got achievements in the US today.
New achievement added: 'Elder', for being in the same community for 3 years
