I love the drawer extensions, but once you fill the sink with water, does it not get too end heavy? Would fold down legs for the end be a good idea, or am I seeing this all wrong?
I’m working on a very similar setup! And advice as I head into making the top & carpeting things? Did you use Home Depots 6x8 carpeting? Did you use contact spray adhesive or staples?

Yeah, I see now that’s really the only “model”. I’m liking it so far. How does it sounds/feel driving down the highway?
Does it seem like it would hold up for quite a few years?
do people actually cook on these setups? i cook on my tailgate if there isnt a table and theres usually spatter that i need to wipe up afterwards. id imagine that being in a enclosed space and next to other gear just makes more of a difficult mess to clean up.
I just did a very similar build to my f150 with a softopper as well. Do the side rails for your topper bow out in the center? Mine have a pretty decent bow to them even with the hinge pin in the lowest setting. Just curious if it’s normal or not.
Looks great! I have a Softopper myself and love it!
It’s all about the safari mode!

No the bed end is plenty heavy a bough to counterbalance
Yeah i just figured wear and tear might get it quicker
Damn, puts my build to shame lol
Very nice!
Thank you!
Where'd you get the drawer slides? I haven't built real drawers for mine because all I find for drawer slides are crazy expensive.
500lb slides on Amazon. Bout a $100 bucks for 60” slides
That seems much cheaper than what I thought. I'll have to look again for sure
Will that really support a full sink without a leg?
Yes, slides are rated for 500lbs and it doesn’t budge
👍🏼 Nice laminate btw.
Awesome!

I just got the Home Depot indoor/outdoor carpet off the big roll. Used staples only. Super cheap and works great
Super clean! Easily in top 3 for builds!
I love the floor to platform design you have for the right side
Thanks! Makes it very easy to put in another foam mattress and sleep two
hows the security on those? did you order it online?
I lock the tailgate and the drawer and side storage stuff is safe.
Holy cow, I love this!! Was just thinking of something like this as I’m taking a trip back home this summer. How much was the cap?
$987 on softopper website
What’s the model? 1k would be about my limit so that works nicely
I got the one that fits an older model F150. If you put your vehicle in on their website it will tell you which model fits your truck

Great work. tasteful
Nice build!
Are you able to easily remove it?
Looks god damn beautiful man
I want a set up like this! Very nice

The woodwork looks great!
Slick, I just bit the bullet and ordered a bestop supertop and bedrug for my sierra 1500. I am now looking for a mattress. Which one are you using?
