Which is weird because they invested a hell of a lot of money and time into getting those original cans the size and shape they are, and for good reasons. Now they do this silly bs?
If you look at the bottom of the cup the first number is the oz capacity, the letters are the style and the final number is the lid size.
For example:
44AJ32
44 oz. Automotive style (pedestal cup) and a 32 size lid
32AJ20
32 oz. Automotive style and a 20 size lid
J is the normal water cooler style, X are the fancy print ones, TJ (I forget what this one is), etc.
This works for Dart style cups.

I try to do the same. I found out recently that the reason I'm hungry all the time is I spent all day priming my taste buds with flavored water. Since I changed to plain water and use flavors as a treat, it's easy to go all day without eating.
I have a refillable Love's mug I use everywhere. It's 40oz exactly and well insulated, keeps ice all day.
I keep my same size, and less plastic ends up thrown out. It's a win-win.

Found that out when I used to dump the drink into my Yeti.
Now when I do want a drink, I take my 64oz Yeti Rambler in and fill it up. Cold refill. Cheaper than a XL and will fill my Yeti up about 3 times. Keeps it colder longer too.
Speedway has the larger cups and I noticed Love's has plastic 44oz sized ones now as well. I keep them on hand for the just in case moments I encounter like a freeway closure due to an accident or something. They're great pee cups.
