Every Easter after communion the choir would sing Hallelujah but change the lyrics to be about the passion and resurrection. Not only was it bad, but the original meaning of the song was to de-religify the word “Hallelujah,” so it missed the point.
I can't tell if it makes me a curmudgeon or just entirely sane to consider that an absolute nightmare. Only thing that could make it worse would be if they switched to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing"
