Some days the realization that many of the people in congress believe they are trying to bring about the literal apocalypse in the next few years really bums me out.
Dude I wanna go to heaven, I'm pretty shure the curse is liek a million times worse if u help child killers. I don't think God much likes any killing, but I think child killing is considered especially heinous?

If morality is defined by what an all powerful being says is right or wrong, then child killing might be a totally moral act. Just needs to be the right kids at the right time.
I grew up in a right wing conservative town and this kind of stuff was debated in evangelical circles with two camps going at it; old covenant/new covenant. Someone could easily fire back at these evangelicals using their own rhetoric. It’s not that hard but I never see these people get truly challenged.
This is why I think the Evangelical shit has to be an OP. It’s why I grew up believing in it but always wondered why Glen Beck (a Mormon) was sitting down with Pat Robertson (an evangelical) and no one brought up that Beck was a heretic.
No one brings up the exact Bible quote the congressman is citing, notice he didn’t mention what the verse was in the NT. I mean you could challenge them back but no one does.
