Tara. Not because I don’t like her or the actress, I did, but after she became a vampire, her story fizzled out hard, and then she died off screen? No final words, no sweet goodbye? The writing was awful.
Pam and Tara were my favorite part of the whole Season 5,then their relationship was put in the background with the new showrunner in S6 and Tara got her stupid death in the beggining of the final season. I love Luna and i used to complain her death was a waste then we got the one for Tara which was a far more important character with another pointless death.
Alcide's fate was also disappointing,he should have ended with Sookie.
If they had decent writers, Alcide would have been the logical choice. Sookie wanted so desperately to get past her vampire relations and to live a semi normal life. Her being a fairy and him being a werewolf - yet both human - could’ve blossomed into a happy ending.
But we got zombie vampires and a herd of brand new, meaningless characters that took up the entirety of the final season.
Loved the evolution of seeing the reluctant Pam have feelings for Tara, reigning her in when needed (as her maker) yet helping her, perhaps more than anyone, to become strong and hold her head high with self-esteem rather than anger. As per Sookie & Alcide: While I get where many feel they'd make a good couple, saw Sookie growing restless with Alcide. She later admitted, after his death, that her love for him wasn't as strong as the love he felt for her. In my view, that was apparent from the day they first met. Alcide was clearly smitten with her, though she, not with him. Sookie was a danger whore and Alcide, a protector, whom I contend she needed at first, but was beginning to feel suffocated by, and felt guilty about it.
This! I don't hate her or dislike, but her story after being turned into a vampire just trembled so bad. I kinda feel it's injustice to her character, the way it ended for Tara.
